A must for all cat lovers!
This product is wonderful. My cat, who is 5 years old, loves it. When I turn it on, he will stop what he is doing to look at the video. He will find a comfy spot and become a 'couch potato'. I was thrilled with the quality of the video....very crisp and the attention to detail is amazing. I especially love the different animals they chose for the video --- it is a very good assortment of birds, etc. My kitty is a 'rescue' so I was not sure if he would like it, but so far it has helped him relax and enjoy the 'great outdoors' from the comfort of home. I myself even like to watch the video after a stressful workday! We will often sit on the couch and watch the video together. I would definitely recommend this video to all cat lovers!!!!! 4 Paws Up!!!!!!

Grabbed my kitty's attention!
My cat loved this at first and grabbed at the TV to get to the critters up there. She especially was attracted to the one with the kittens playing with the toys. Super cute. She did get bored eventually, but we pull it out every so often and she has fun for a little while until her attention wanes...

Works beautifully!
I bought this video to play on the TV at the Tenth Life Cat Rescue storefront, where I volunteer. We keep up to six cats there in the office, and they LOVE this video. Even the shy ones come out and stare at the screen, try to look behind it to see where the birds are, and are fascinated by it. In fact, it's kind of relaxing, and I am tempted to purchase another one to play on my computer at home while I crochet or some other handicraft, to keep me amused! LOL I highly recommend it. BUT don't overdo it. Eventually they will just get used to it, so you should only use it a little bit at a time. Otherwise they will just start to ignore it. Ours at the storefront aren't there permanently so there's a good turnover of cats, and none of them really get bored from it.

Disappointed!
Well shot and my cat seems interested but I canโt get the sound to work! Even though I click and click on the sound option in the main screen, it defaults back to mute. Disappointed!

My 2 girls love it!
I had my doubts about this DVD, I have 2 female cats, one is 14 and the other is 3. Both cats were enthralled with this video. The 3 YO liked certain parts and the 14 YO liked others. Based on their various watching habits, I consider this video a success and would highly recommend it. Don't take my word for it? The cats love it!

Very entertaining for our cats
Our cats LOVE this video. No matter where they are, when we put this on, they run into the room. They "chatter" at the birds and purr when then kittens come on. We leave it on while we're gone for long periods of time. All of them don't stay for the entire video, but they do keep coming back for their favorite parts! mama r

Amuzed for awhile
My cat was amuzed for awhile, then lost interest. Sort of what I expected would happen. Probably appeals to younger cats more...mine is six and entering that "I'd rather watch you try to get me to play" stage! The bird that chirps through the whole video is rather annoying to humans!!!

Great production values, questionable content lacking variety
Production values very professional throughout, matching quality of Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, etc. And thematically the DVD starts off very well, with a particularly beautiful park scene (squirrels, rabbits, fowl, lake creatures and scenery) that had my cat absolutely transfixed. The problem with the disc I feel is its "sameness" as it reaches towards the end. It repeats a scene of pigeons that was not very exciting the first time, and the second half of the DVD focuses on birds/fowl too much in general. I also question the three whole sections devoted to cat footage; I am curious whether this has a negative effect on indoor cats, specifically single cats--I noticed my cat become a bit more aggressive and not himself after viewing the cat sections--and my suspicions are he is frustrated he is not in those bucolic environments himself. More variety in animals would have made this probably the best video for cats in the market. Where are the gerbils, hamsters, mice (there is a section called "mouse chase" that has a total of one mice, and it is basically a dead one being pursued by a cat). As it is, the DVD is unfulfilled potential.
