Luggable Loo and Privacy Tent Review
2 Great products for the great outdoors! Popup Privacy Tent and the Luggable Look Toilet Seat Cover Faswin Pop Up Pod Toilet Tent Privacy Shelter Tent Camping Shower Potable Outdoor Changing Room Dark Green Reliance Products Luggable Loo Seat Cover I was going camping out in the desert to a favorite riding place where there is absolutely nothing around to shield the body while doing your business. Did some research and had a small budget for spending and these two products were what I purchased. The Privacy tent was super light and easy to set up, set's up in minutes, literally like 2 minutes tops. The Luggable Loo toilet lid seat, which snaps on to 5 gallon buckets gives you a nice easy place to sit and relax while reading. First off the privacy tent was great. Camping with my 2 young girls and wife the privacy tent was secure enough to make them feel comfortable enough to do their business out in the great outdoors. I for one don't like having to hold myself up between two logs or rocks so the Luggable Loo toilet lid seat also came in handy for making the new portable restroom complete. When you are out in the open desert and all there is are creosote bushes, motorcycle and quad riders, you need something handy to complete the days business in private. Privacy and comfort is all I ask for, these two items did that job easily and quickly. Privacy Tent Pros: Easy to set up the privacy tent, pretty much just pops itself open. Comes with stakes in case you need to secure it to the ground if there is wind. Small and lightweight, takes up no room at all once folded and packed away. Privacy Tent Cons: No instructions to set up or take down. While setting up was a breeze, I had to go find a video to learn how to fold it before trying to do that on my own and tearing it to shreds.(I've included a short video on how to fold it in my video review) Luggable Loo Pros: Simple, yet effective. It's a toilet seat, let's face it I don't want to try to find a rock that is shaped right for me to sit on and do my duty. I want something comfortable and stable enough to sit and relax, maybe even read a little while I'm there. This thing does it. I purchased the Loo lid ONLY, as I had a 5 gallon paint bucket already. Luggable Loo Cons: Not much really, the only thing is the 5 gallon bucket takes up a bit of room in the back of the truck to transport, but that's about it.

Perfect for two reasons
Bought a 1900 house and it was obvious the plumbing would need care. As a backup, this lid is on a five-gallon bucket is lined with a plastic bag. A few. This way, use one. Tie off. To the trash. Next is ready to go. Came in handy when the plumber needed to auger the system. During covid closings a parent died across the country. My Jeep doesn't have a back seat because I need the extra space for the German Shepherd to be comfy. Plus, for project hauls from hardware stores, etc. Anyhow, this toilet system worked fantastic during the cross-country drive. Find a place away from main traffic but close to safety. The Jeep is big enough I can use it in the back or boondocking someplace. Which did happen on the same trip returning. Stopped to help a friend in the Tennesee wilderness. Anyhow, use the pot. Wrap the bag. Drop at the gas station while filling up. This saved a lot of time, too. In case you're wondering, for food. Dried products. Amazing Grass Superfood wheatgrass flavors. For caffeine use their Watermelon with caffeine built into the fruit. Usually bake high protein goodness. This one time, baked eggs with all sorts of ingredients. Wrapped in aluminum foil inside an organic tortilla. Turn the defroster on high. Pull a foil-wrapped tortilla from the portable fridge cooler. (bought this at Aldi but can find one here. Plug into the charging outlet while driving). Put the tortilla on the dash over the hot air. If you let it sit out to room temp it'll heat more evenly quickly. Tasty high protein meal anytime. Another trick, for milk and cereal while driving. Portable organic milk. Or, soy. Eat cereal. Drink milk. Or, vise verse. I save a few hours this way. Another recommendation, to run the dog use a frisbee. We buy Kong’s. In between trips and plumbing trials tho makes for a nice trash bucket. Or, dog poop clean upon the back yard. Use the bag to line. Dump weekly. Bet you weren't expecting all this under the heading toilet seat :) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

FITS EASILY ONTO 5 GALLON BUCKET FROM HD
The Reliance Snap on Toilet seat for 5 gallon buckets fit easily onto an orange Home Depot Just Do It bucket. I have owned a Reliance lugabale loo for over 2 decades, so I took a chance ordering just the Reliance snap on toilet seat (was afraid too with so many negative reviews saying the lid did not fit a 5 gal bucket or that it was flimsy). I had no trouble at all attaching this snap on toilet seat onto the HD bucket. It fits much more easily that my long time owned lugabable loo bucket set up which is also from reliance. This Reliance snap on toilet seat is VERY STURDY I am a big gal over 225 in my 60's and find the seat to be very comfortable, much more so than just squatting in the woods or having to go stumbling out (rather long distances) in the middle of the dark night to tinkle in the out house by the lake cabin. I highly recommend this snap on toilet seat. There are 2 noticeable cosmetic variances (from the molding of the plastic?) in the appearance of the seat finish as noted in another review, but those cosmetic differences in the finish are not detectable by touch and have no bearing what so ever on how well this seat functions for the purpose for which it was built. The seat is comfortable, much less expensive than buying the whole luggable loo system that includes the bucket. Order with confidence the lid fits easily onto a 5 gallon bucket (at least mine sure did) there was no struggle what so ever to snap it on to the bucket, easy peasy.

Best substitute for the price
It seems uncanny the number of times my water has been shut off due to construction or other factors beyond my control. After being without running water, and because of my disability having a difficult time lugging water to flush the toilet each time, I decided to get a luggable loo and some kitty litter and trash bags. The luggable loo fits well and securely to the top of my 5 gallon bucket. I didn't worry about tipping while taking care of business. It felt very stable. I didn't like the downward slope of the "toilet seat" (from outside edge to inside edge) though - it was a little too drastic and I don't see why it couldn't have been flatter. Don't expect it to support you like a normal toilet seat - it doesn't quite do that, as it's not as wide as a normal toilet seat. The kitty litter and loo lid really helped keep odors to a minimum. I still emptied the loo fairly soon after a #2, whenever possible. I would definitely buy this product again if need be - infinitely more comfortable than trying to "hover". And no....no video reviews for this product...thanks. ;) UPDATE 5/21/2016 I attached a three gallon bucket with the same diameter rim to make this loo shorter so that I can use it in my vehicle when traveling. Actually, I end up using it at least once per week, and it has been a lifesaver during long trips with over 2,000 miles of driving. Parents with younger children NEED one of these! I'm still using my original Luggable Loo Seat Cover here, and it works just fine for the job. It cleans up easily and has been used by friends who have also enjoyed its utility. Definitely worth the cost!

Outstanding for a camper who flies with gear
OK, so the title of my review may sound a bit odd - I agree. I car camp extensively all over New York State and also fly to the National Parks and am able to take almost all of the gear that I use when car camping in NYS except for a porta-toilet. I am a very active above knee amputee (with prosthesis) and probably do more than most people with 2 legs. That being said, I don't sleep with my prosthesis on and if I need to use the facilities during the night it can be a pain to carry a flashlight while using crutches at 3 a.m. I've always had to get the site right next to the facilities when I fly to my camping destination because of this. These sites aren't always the best sites with regard to privacy and noise level due to the in and out traffic. This eliminates (no pun intended) that problem. Since it's just the cover and is totally flat I can easily pack this (wrapped in a basic plastic shopping bag) into my 27" pullman with my tent and other gear. Or if I choose to send a box to the hotel I'm at for a night or two before heading to the campground I can ship it there easily along with other gear in a 14x14x14 box. My favorite National Park to camp at is Rocky Mtn. NP in Colorado. I can land in Denver, get my food supplies and swing by a Lowe's or Home Depot to spend a whopping $3 on a 5 gallon bucket. Now I can get a more private site or one with a nicer view that's further away from the facilities since I can just keep it in my tent and take care of it first thing in the morning after I put on my prosthesis. I (gratefully) realize that my needs for this product are a bit unusual compared to others, but I think most can agree that no one really wants to trapse out of their tent at 3 a.m. to walk 10 sites down to use the facilities, esp. if kids are with you. During the day it's no big deal to take that walk and a good leg stretcher, but at night stay snug in your tent and have this along. Just be sure to empty it and clean it with camp soap first thing in the morning. If you don't want to have to clean the bucket you can also use the Reliance Double Doodie bags with this product.

Good buy for the Money
If you dont want to spend a thousand dollars on a compostable toilet then this lid and a 5 gallon paint bucket is a great choice. I am giving this 5 stars because it provides an inexpensive and good fix to a problem. We are using it in an RV that had to be winterized that sits outside a relative's home. We visit and use this every few weeks for four days or so at a time. We can do dishes and shower in her home but didn't want to have to use her bathrooms early in the morning or in the middle of the night. This provides an inexpensive compostable toilet that fits perfectly in the RV bathroom. Its comfortable, and with the right medium covering things there is no smell. The lid is held on with a bit of a flimsy hinge set up and the pin pops out easily. You can push the pin back into the hinge easily but you learn to be a bit gentle with the lid and not to push it back too far. Other than that this is a really great product. If you camp, have a winterized RV or hunt its going to help out immensely. It makes life a lot more comfortable.

Perfect for night time bathroom runs for pregnant women while camping!
My husband and I were taking a weekend trip to an off-road park for an event and would be tent camping. This particular park has 1 bathhouse with 1 toilet, and there would be hundreds of people. Also, I'm currently pregnant, and have to go to the bathroom several times per night. This park offers no privacy for answering the call of nature outside, even at night. I needed something that I could use with in the tent during the night. This worked great. I used a Lowe's 5 gallon bucket, lined with a standard kitchen trash bag. I put newspaper in the bottom to help absorb, but for the future i will try to find some kind of absorbent pads, maybe pet training pads or something. I also used some Arm&Hammer deodorizer to make sure it didn't start to smell. The toilet seat is a tight fit on the bucket. It took me several tries to get it on, but once it was on I wasnt worried about it coming off. I never noticed any smell coming from the bucket. I think this was partly due to the deodorizer keeping it down as well as the lid keeping it contained. I know it has some smell because when I went to empty the bucket i could smell it. But it never escaped the bucket. The bucket did have a bit of a smell after wards. It might go away on its own being aired out, but i will also clean it and try to deodorize it. However, this bucket will now be used strictly for the pee bucket. I plan on using this bathroom solution in the future any time we are tent camping. It's nice to have in the middle of the night!

cheap, flimsy, not the design pictured in listing
Before purchasing I looked through reviews and noticed 2 different designs for the toilet lid.. a square front that people seemed happy with and a round front with a little semi circular handle off to the side that mostly had bad reviews... Since the Listing showed the rectangular lid and seemed highly rated I took the plunge... Mistake.. I received the other design and can affirm it is cheaply made. It would appear the weight of the lid itself is enough to snap the lid off in a short amount of time. The seat "barely" snaps to a bucket.. a very loose snap that a pinky finger can lift off the rim of the bucket. The snap that is supposed to snap the lid to the seat is completely useless, not sure why its even there. Cheap, Flimsy.. disappointed! If you expect to never actually use this and just want the cheapest backup possible then this would be a fine choice.. If you want it to hold up and function properly when you need it I'd get a different one!

Decent!
LIKE: Fits easily onto one of those 5gal pails you can find at most hardware stores (I used a RONA bucket). First, I put a garbage bag into the bucket and then clip the seat onto the bucket. Next, I add some pine shavings (the kind that are used for small pet cages), filling about 1/3 of the bucket with shavings. The shavings muffle your pee sounds and neutralize the smells. It felt sturdy enough to sit on (I am middle-aged and about 60lbs overweight). Great for camping, if you don't like using the outhouse at night. Was also great to have when my sewer line clogged and I waited for the plumber to come to fix it. DISLIKES: No complaints that are product related. I don't like doing my business in a bucket, but it's really nice to have when you have no other options.

Camp Toilet Seat and Lid
The lid is so tight on it that it does not stay open and lays on the back when you use the camp toilet. It does not stay on the bucket either. It's very hard to find the right sized bucket in this country. (Not the UK) I would give it 5 stars but the cold plastic lid on the back is a deal breaker and the plastic has a crack in it where the hinge part is. For the price it's a great deal but be careful of the lid.

Buen producto

Excellent !
Never thought I’d be so inclined to pee in the bucket but after a few uses it was a game changer! Its perfect for long road trips when sometimes bathrooms aren’t readily available. Fits excellent on a Rona bucket, seals well ( to keep the smell in, but if knocked over would spill) ,no leaks, no smells! Used some blue toilet bowl cleaner to keep it fresh, and only number ones for easy clean up.
