Easy to fill
Easily filled where its placed in the planter. Just add water when I water the plants gives a little more time before it needs watering again. Attractive addition to the plant.

Good to use in window boxes.
I love the clear version of these - the green doesn’t really blend in. I also like the larger version better. I wish these came with a little lid to “close” the mouth - to reduce evaporation when used indoors.These little water reserves are great to use outdoors - especially in window boxes when you are trying to avoid the inevitable drip from the underside.These seem to be much more effective than the glass water bulbs.
