I purchased this drive to replace my daughter's Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15". It worked as well as expected. IT is the exact version her laptop had that failed. A decent value for the money, considering the cost of drives these days. Very compatible. Format, speed and noise levels are reasonable for a drive of this size.

1Tb 7mm 2.5" drive for reasonable price. Prior to ordering from this seller, twice I ordered alleged 7mm hard drives from other sellers, and both times received 9.5mm hard drives which WILL NOT FIT !!! From this seller, I received the correct, as-advertised 7mm hard drive on the first try. And it works; so far so good.

Bought this for my PS4. Fit perfectly, works great. Well worth the money compared to sending it out for repairs.

easy installation!

I decided to upgrade my aged Inspiron 1525 laptop's SATA 250Gb with this 1Tb SATA HDD. It was such a find just for the price. Although, 1Tb are so common these days, the price marginally agreed with me - could have been lower, but I decided to buy 4, anyway. Compared to the older drive this new one is just a tad thinner, and much lighter. I realize late in my intention that some older bios cannot handle a certain storage capacity, applying the last firmware/bios update for this "Jesus" - the 1Tb was able to run on the laptop with Win11pro, none-the-less. I was thrilled with the unexpected outcome, earlier I thought "CRAP! - I should have taken the time to research my laptop's specs' profile!", I was lucky that at the end of it all - everything worked out. I might add that originally, on Win10pro, the laptop seem to be just a smidge faster than on Win11pro, perhaps I have given the old "bag-of-bones" more than its hardware's limit, or it could just be me.

I buy these for my surveillance system. It tends to go through hard drives since it runs 24/7.

Used for a replacement HDD for my laptop where the HDD went out prematurely. Replaced it and reinstalled Windows with no issue.

The hard drive arrived seams perfect Not used yet, the packaging I am Not happy with, it came in a flimsy thin padded very small paper envelope then placed in a large plastic envelope. Even if it worked and has NO defects on first startup, I believe that All trowing and bashing along the way has serious consequences in the long run that will Shaw up later on out of warranty. This package would be OK if I collected it myself and gently placed on the car seat and took it gently home. I have had many hard drives dad after the 30 days warranty even the replacement warranty.

Placed order on Monday and arrived on Thursday as promised. The drive was sealed in an antistatic bag. The hard seller appears to be located in the UK as it was delivered in an air bubble bag by the UK Royal Mail. Amazon further put the whole package in another air bubble bag before the final delivery. Thumbs up for the seller and Amazon. It was intended as a replacement for a Samsung HDD. Although running at 5400 rpm, there is no significant delay in response compared with the Samsung drive at 7200 rpm. Installation was a breeze and boots up right away. The drive and the addition of 4 more GB of memory brings a HP Elitebook 8440P back to life from the grave. Its too early to say anything about the disk durability. But, so far so good. Price wise, its very good for a 1 TB 2.5 inch HDD.
