Works well in a small space. This would not catch a large amount of debris but it is very useful for relatively small areas. It has a short drop and an outlet that will take either a 4 or 3 inch drain pipe.

Great product and put in area to catch excess water when it rained and pull water away from house

This fixed a problem with a low spot in our driveway that always flooded. It has been very wet this year so the problem was much worse and needed to be fixed. Dug a trench across the drive, placed a 4" drain pipe and put this drain fixture in a low spot next to the drive. Rainwater is now diverted to the low side of the drive without making a pond. First heavy rain the inlet screen quickly clogged with leaves. That problem was solved by putting a 24" diameter chicken wire fence/cap around the inlet. Leaves are caught by the fence and now mostly just water makes it to the drain. Seems to be working just fine with minimal maintenance of raking leaves away from the fence once in a while.

3” pipe didn’t fit all the way in so removed plastic stops and sealed w/gutter seam sealer. Also leaves about an inch of water in the bottom that seems to be a mosquito magnet. Not sure why they couldn’t make the pipe drain completely so Filled with P gravel. It is a sturdy piece and worked great after mods.
