Simply Awesome
I can’t use my tube amps due to meth addicts loitering in my neighborhood. The MS-2 lets me play discreetly. The basic tone is Marshall all of the way. The clean channel does not have a lot of headroom, but I like it that way. The distort is akin to a JCM2000 on amber channel. It is very responsive to the volume control on the guitar. I will not judge its bass for its 3 inch speaker. It seems to sound best with single coils based on AB testing it on my split coil PRS McCarty. My 62 reissue Strat sounds great too. For what it is, excellent value and great choice for beginners to experienced players If you are a beginner, this is much better than what I stared with. Do not expect it to be a 100watt full Marshall stack It’s awesome though

Sleeping little beast
On its own the Marshall ms2 doesn’t sound all that good. But put a boss metal zone pedal through it and it becomes a little beast of an amp. Battery lasts about five days of operation playing about three hours a day. It’s a high gain amp that needs a distortion pedal to sound good. Not very great at clean sounds as it breaks up as you turn up the volume. I love these little ms2s.

Works as expected, wish power chord was included
This mini guitar amp does what you want it to do and delivers the sound you would expect. It’s a good little amp for practice or as a gift. The sound is best when the batteries are new or if you plug it into a wall outlet. My main complaint is that it doesn’t come with a power cord, which would have been nice, but otherwise it works as advertised.

Great Gift For A Guitarist
This was purchased as a gift from my guitar playing son. He loves it. He uses it when he travels and still wants to be able to plug in his electric to work on his playing or music he's writing. It is so compact and puts out a surprising clean loud sound for its size. Very easy to carry around and doesn't take hardly any packing space. This is not a full size amp - don't expect full size sound and conveniences. It's useful for practice, when you can't or don't want to make a lot of loud sound. This was probably the best gift dad and I could have given him on the budget we were on. This was a 2017 Christmas gift. He's had no problems with it at all. He highly recommends this.

... is not a 5 out of 5 received a bad unit. The only complaint I would have is ...
Anyone who says this amp is not a 5 out of 5 received a bad unit. The only complaint I would have is that you COULD by a 15-20watt lead amp from Pyle or many others that will blow this away for the same price. The difference? They are not portable. They do not clip on your belt. They do not fit in your pocket/gig bag. I got MS2 today and it is everything I was told it would be. Loud enough that people can hear it, yet not loud enough that it can be heard on the other side of the house. The clean channel is clear, the overdrive gives more than enough crunch to rock out. You can not beat this for its size for practice. Probably would make a good lead pre-amp solution as well if you like its as-is sound. This is a dorm room amp. This is what you get when you want to practice without headphones, or jam out with a couple of friends, one playing bongos, the other singing without a mic. Perfect. It is NOT the perfect Marshall stack sound ,but it is close enough. Get real people. It's tiny.

Terrible Product
Made noise for about 5 seconds and now nothing. Light turns on but no sound at all. Don’t waste your time or money

Marshall MS2 Battery-Powered Micro Guitar Amplifier
My son loves it

Not really worth it IMO
This is a pretty cool little Amp, but the sound I get out of mine is choppy, for lack of better term. In clean, it sounds okay; could be better. The OD is what's real choppy. No Metallica or Pantera with this IMO.

Sound is good for what it is, but missing bass and the higher tones are a bit screechy. But i had low expectations and it definitely exceeded them. Perfect to just jam on the balcony without disturbing neighbours. Overdrive was a bit of a letdown though.
