These are excellent! I was a bit hesitant to try them as the packaging is odd to me so I was not initially attracted to the product (I am a Gen X and I don't "get it"...it is like some weird video game theme,..makes no sense to me). Regardless, I the and when I tried it (because of the posts on Insta), I immediately ordered the kiwi (level 3) and orange (level 4). The posts are for real!...IT IS SOUR!! I appreciate that it is real fruit. While a bit pricey, I can feel "better" about eating these as opposed to the sour candy with all kinds of preservatives. A couple of pieces is satisfying for my sour cravings and these are actually more sour than other sour candies. HOOKED!

I had originally ordered the variety 6 pack, and one of those 6 were these level 4 green apples. They were super sour, they tasted amazing. So I wanted to buy this 4 pack to have a good supply. Boy was I disappointed. All 4 bags were barely sour and tasted like chemicals. It was so bad to the point that I could not bear to swallow most of them. I have no idea what was so different about these packs than the other one I had, but the inconsistency in these products is enough to make me never buy them again.

Loved these but didn’t realize they were actual apples? Sticky mess getting them out of the bag- use nitrile medical gloves or long tweezers if you’re weird like me and don’t like sticky fingers. Taste was out of this world but I’d say these belong in Level 3 sour

I was conflicted on how to go about this review because on one hand the Candy is super good. It's clearly quality stuff... but I ordered the level 3 and level 4 (4 being the most sour thing they offer at the time of this review/ at the moment.) Marketing it as being "Intensely sour" Is just misleading. The 3 candies I tried were no where near as sour as sour skittles, not even close... In my head I could buy some freeze dried fruit at the store for less than 20% of the price (That's if you don't buy in bulk.) and add generic "sour powder" end up with something much more sour and drastically cheaper. I plan on trying another bag when they release a more sour version just in case its worth it but I'd rather just have freeze dried fruit or sour candy if the middle ground is going to be 5 to 10 times the price of either or both.

Tasted good. But I was expecting more candy like then dried fruit texture. Tasted good. My sister loved it, who is into dehydrated fruit. Butil it wasn't what I was expecting for myself

My husband is absolutely obsessed with extreme flavors. I'm always on the lookout for something with incredible sourness but that's still tasty. These absolutely fit the bill. The sour on the outside is delicious and preposterously sour without just being a bunch of annoying crystals you can just lick off. Then inside is yummy fruit. Who thinks of things like this? Geniuses, that's who! If there's a drawback to these, it's that they are VERY sticky. But that just means you can lick the sour off your fingers later in the day. So it all works out. Plus they have less sugar than candy. There's literally no reason not to buy and enjoy these unless you're some kind of sourness coward.

Like several others have stated in their reviews, I received a bag of dried apples that was only slightly more sour than a regular, fresh green apple. The overall taste was ok (tasted like a green apple with a little extra citric acid on it). There was ZERO puckering, which is really disappointing considering that Level 4 is their highest rank. For a company who specializes in sour, this was very underwhelming. For the cost, I expected better. Warheads would have been cheaper, and more sour. But hey, at least it was made with real fruit... Maybe I (like so many others) got a bad batch. But at this price point, I'd expect that to happen far less frequently than it appears to be happening. This was unfortunately my first and last Final Boss purchase.

THEY SUPER SOUR! Maybe I got a good batch, even after seeing all the reviews, but the batch I got was REALLY SOUR but good! It’s best to refrigerate them after a while to save them so they don’t get all gooey & sticky! The texture doesn’t feel like I’m eating a candy gummy but more so a dried fruit covered in sour stuff, it is pretty chewy. It’s good though!
