Very expensive product and don't know genuineness of the product

This the first time I tried the carbon version of this filter. It produces such clean air, like after a spring rain.

The filter is very effective for eliminating the odor, especially when you are suffered from smoke or paint smell in your home. I have a neighbor that smokes everyday and the strong smell came to my place even at midnight. But this smokestop filter solved my problem and works out pretty well. It says officially that the filter has to be replaced after half a year if you turn on the machine 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. However, as for my personal experience, it could effectively work even after 8-9 months. Highly recommend to those who need to eliminate bad odors.

I bought this to help my family and I sleep without the smell of smoke when a wild fire was tearing up the forest about 150 miles from our home. I honestly cannot vouch for the complete irradiation of all unhealthy particles in our room, but I can say when I walked into the room it smelled clean. It immediately reminded me of the way the room smelled when I visited my Mom when she was in the ICU at the hospital... She got better :-) and so did the quality of the air in our bedroom.
