Great ht with lots of features
So far I am impressed with the radio, HF reception is not like my Icom 7610 but it's great having a handheld that can receive the HF bands plus transmit on several ham bands. It will do about 3 watts on 6 meter FM, and with the right antenna could work some DX when the band is open. It also transmits on 10 and 11 meters, but FM only - ho hum? Not a big deal though as that's not what I bought it for anyway.

RADTEL 920. A nice little radio.
This is a nice radio. The CPS from RADTEL is clunky to use, but it works with CHIRP for programming. It will take a little planning to get your zones correct, but once you do that, it works very well. I am very pleased with the performance thus far. My hope is they allow you to rename the zones in the future. That would make it perfect, but that is not directly related to the actual equipment. The equipment is flawless so far.

Great starter radio for that new Ham.
Easy to program with your Android or Apple phones. Limited memory spaces though. For the money, this is a steal. Battery life is average. Good starter radio. Bluetooth is a game changer, one of the few Ham Radio HT's that have it.

Easier than the others
It does a lot of things and is basically a Baofung but with easier but similar menus and air band. Get a good airband antenna on this thing and its fairly sensitive. Update. I got the Radtel airband antenna (14.96 inch) and put it on this radio. Amazing. I have Yaesu FTA-250 and 450 Airband transceiver and this thing is very readable in comparison, and those are over $200 radios. You can only listen on airband, and the scanning isn't real fast, but using the zones you can save channels by airport, or by interest around the larger airports so it makes scanning more reasonable. It's not a BC-125AT in scanning speed, but it pretty much matches it on air reception with the airband antenna. Less than half the cost. And you can program in the FRS channels in a zone and use a couple for walkie talkies. Of course, it does tons of other stuff if you are a VHF ham user. I bought a second one. Quirky to program, but if tmtou ever used a Baofeng this is easier to get familiar with.

Very nice radio, good audio and a good reciever. Covers a good frequency range. It suppose to be a 10 watt radio, but it's actually it's about 7 watts. Should be increased on the Wattage.

Defective Radios?
I purchased this radio hoping to listen to frequencies other than the standard 2m, 440 ones. The radio worked fine for a couple hours then stopped letting me switch to those bands including listening to FM radio. I did two factory resets to hopefully correct the problem (which fixed it briefly) but then stopped working again. I sent that radio back for a replacement to see if it was an isolated incident but the second radio turned out worse than the first. I reached out to the company for help and they told me to unload new firmware however that would force me to purchase a data cable which I didn't want to invest more money and find out that wouldn't work either. So I ended up returning the second radio as well. I don't need a radio that only hears and talks on the standard 2m, 440 bands since I already own several radios that do that.

Shack in the box radio
I have other radios that are similar, but this radio is better. I compared this to the Quansheng TK-11. This radios far better in my opinion. Easy to use, clear reception on all bands, battery life is pretty decent as well. Definitely a good value for all it can do. I love the multiple functions it has. A must for any radio enthusiast, a true shack in the box radio.

Does a lot.
I really like the radio. All kinds of features and I like the styling. Very sensitive receive. I have transmitted much on it, but during the period I did had a problem were it seemed to get stuck transmitting once. I don't know if it was a low battery thing or what, but it hasn't happened again during my testing. It wasn't a stuck button either. That's the main reason for the four stars.

Costruito male e sordo in hf onde corte
