The spices came well packaged and they added hot chocolate to the package and no, I didn't order it. It was a small gift by the business. This was something I bought to refresh my spice cabinet. All of my spices were so old they didn't even smell anymore. I was thrilled when I opened these, nice scents, flavors and color. The shipping was quick. This company offers a fine product. This would be a great gift to a new couple or again just for your own home. I'm having fun trying new things out.

we'd recently moved, got rid of all our spices and we got this, in addition to the drawer spice organizer. These give you a good foundation of spices, however, you will need some basics like garlic powder, onion powder etc. but overall it's good.

I am currently remodeling my kitchen so the recipes won't begin for several more weeks but I am so pleased with the flavors and the aromas. The jar size is PERFECT so less used spices will remain fresh. These jars are packaged beautifully with attractive labels and are very fresh! What really sold me on this set was the addition of gourmet salts. As stand alone items, they can be expensive so having them included is a wonderful bonus. If you were to duplicate this assortment from the grocery store, it would most likely cost you 5x or 6x more. Additionally the manufacturer sent a lovely followup note where it's very clear they appreciate their customers and employees. I'm SO happy to be a new member to Team Nomu!
