I have a 30+ year old cooler with with a 12 volt peltier chiller. It has both an external and internal fan. I used this one as a replacement for the external 100mm fan that had died. I couldn't find an exact replacement, and this one moved more air at slower RPM than the original was rated. It mounted wel, though slightly rotated (it fit). It is so quiet for my use that I can't really tell it is working unless I look to see if the fan blades are turning. I've been using it for a while, and it is still holding up. After I drive for a while and pull over, I can feel the warm air coming out of the exhaust vent of the cooler at a pretty decent rate. This was a custom install for this fan, so I cut the cables to match my needs. If this were in a PC case or used to cool a home theater cabinet, I'd probably use two of them.
