Perfect replacement
Bulb worked perfectly. Easy to install. Just remove old housing and unscrew old bulb. Screw in new bulb. No issues at all. Did not rate on longevity because I am still upset at Pentair for the original bulb which lasted less than 3 months with almost no usage.

Fits my pool lite fixture and works.
Not really anything else I can ask for. Will update if it has a short life.

Almost never used, was dead in a couple months.
Was bright and nice the couple times we used, clearly not worth the effort to replace every few uses. Are there LED or longer-lasting options than this??

It is not de original (GE o Phillips brand) but for the price it worth it! The original one is over 49 bucks!!! so for the price its OK You want quality or most time using it so buy the original and pay for the price

It work for several month
We ordered this item for the swimming pool, and the first bulb came in on flat envelope. The small paper box outside the bulb was slight squeezed. The bulb looked fine, but it did not light up in the pool. I called Amazon and got replacement. The replacement bulb came in with a small box filled with bubble wrap. This bulb works. Thanks for Amazon customer service! By the way, the wrap with label stating this bulb is "made in Japan", but the bulb was made in China. Hope this bulb will last several years. Update on July 2014. The bulb went out at the beginning this pool season. We only use the pool for 3 month/per year. The bulb only last about 3 month with light use. I have to get another replacement bulb, definitely stay away from this product. Update on June 2015. The bulb went out again this year.
