This is an amazing tool to have. You can see ear wax build up, outer ear infections and even ear drums clearly (if you know what you’re looking for). I have used it countless times on my family because it’s just so easy to use vs a typical otoscope. I’ve had a bleb of some type on my ear drum since January (it’s now June 1st) and I’ve had to monitor my own ear drum daily and then weekly. My ear drum is now fully healed but I monitored its progression in one screen organized by date in the app. It’s easy to use, easy to take a picture with and it saves it in the app for viewing even when the device is off or not with you. It holds a charge for a long time. I’ve charged it 3 or 4 times in 2.5 years and I had hours of use in between charges, it connects to my phone by switching my wifi and it’s never been glitchy or “unable to be found” like some other devices I’ve used. It stays connected as long as the device is on. It powers up quickly and connects quickly. It saved me from needing someone else’s help monitor my own ear drum. So grateful I had this when I needed it and that it had held up so well, given me great pics and the ability to scroll through and see progression of the ear drum. Purchased in Dec of 2022 and it’s still going strong. I’m tempted to buy another just in case anything happens to this one. I never want to be without it!

This thing is amazing and easy to use with a great quality camera and now that I have one I believe everyone should it helped with my ear so much and saved me from a trip to the doctor.

For the price you can’t ask for much better! This ear camera is high definition, comfortable to use in even sensitive ears, and has a user friendly app that’s free. It’s small and can fit in any place for storage. The tip does get hot after long use but nothing that burns you.

I purchased this and another model which has a fixed scoop at the end. Both use the same app (Suear) on Android, so only one app to download and manage. I initially thought the other model would be sturdier, but I don't see how this model can break unless you overtighten it. The advantage of this one is that when the scoop is removed, you can place a silicone sleeve over the shaft allowing you to get real close the ear drum for examination. The permanently attached scoop of other model would touch the eardrum before you can get close enough, and is in the camera's way which affects the lighting and focus. Overall I am happy with this model because it works and the images are clear. Once I got used to it, and learned how far one can go inside the ear canal, I began using the ear scoop accessories without fear. As long as your thumb remains about halfway on the shaft of the scoops (there are detents you can feel), you cannot go far enough to injure the eardrum (unless you push something foreign that was already in there...).

This is an ear camera / ear pick tool that lets you see what's in your ear while at the same time picking out the ear wax and other junk in there. Basically, if you are the type that likes to go hunting with a q-tip or something similar, this will up your game by allowing you to see exactly what it is you are poking at. The unit itself consists of the camera module (the camera is HD, and is actually a lot better than I was expecting), along with an attachable tip. The tip itself is a metal tip with a plastic cover that goes over it (the kit comes with a bunch of the plastic covers so it won't matter if you lose one or three). To use it, you first download the app from your smart phone's app store. You connect the tool with your smart phone via Wi-Fi, and use the app to see in real time what the camera sees. The video is surprisingly good quality, and there isn't detectable lag. You can take a picture with it too (see the attached picture). If you just want to see what's in your ear, take off the tip since it gives you total freedom to move around with the camera. The included APP is quite good and has a few camera modes that you can use to make things easier. You can chose right vs left ear (which will mirror the image based on the ear) and horizontal vs dynamic (which will either keep the camera fixed or the ear fixed) depending on what viewpoint is easiest for you to navigate with. It takes a bit of practice to get used to the movements and placing the tool in your ear, but once you get the hang of it it feels pretty natural. The kit also comes with a set of metal ear picks. These were surprisingly high quality, akin to the somewhat costly picks you can get at drug stores. While using the camera pick tool is fun, the metal one are also good to use too (and since they are smaller, can reach in a bit deeper). Actually what I sometimes do is use the camera tool mostly to check out how much ear wax and other stuff is in a ear, and then use the metal tools to get it out, followed by checking the camera tool again to see what's left in my ear (and repeat). Having that camera is incredibly useful, since before I'd just be picking around to see if anything is left without having any idea if my ear is clean or not. All in all this is a really good set if you happen to be in the market for an ear cleaning tool. Having the camera makes a massive difference.

One year later update: I loved this thing. So useful. You can see the original review below. But like most of these things from overseas, it has no longevity. After a year, it just stopped connecting to my phone. I'm not sorry I bought it. But I didn't intend for it to be a yearly purchase. Because it is, essentially, disposable tech, I changed my 5 star rating to 3. Original Review People who don't have trouble with ear wax may not see the utility. If throwing some water in your ear is all you need, then yay for you! But if you have trouble with ear wax, this is for you. Fair warning--it takes some practice. When I first got it, I couldn't figure it out. I had never seen the inside of an ear before, and I was super nervous about going to far in. I almost cried when 30 minutes of trying to use it left me with nothing to show for it. But, I watched a few videos to see what the ear should look like (nothing special--Japanese ear cleaning videos are a good bet because they show "normal" ears, not "look at this crazy ear with 3 pounds of earwax!"). Watching the videos helped me feel confident. The second time, I went slow--just spent a few minutes getting familiar with the tool and my ear. And the 3rd time, I did the job in about 10 minutes! My ear that had been clogged for 2 months was open for business! Protip: If you have impacted earwax, I do recommend softening the wax with hydrogen peroxide or some other OTC product (these things alone may work for you--but again, if you don't have a problem with earwax, this might not be for you! No amount of OTC stuff worked for me.). About me--I have a medical reason why one ear gets clogged all the time. My ear canal is very, very small and I had surgery on that ear as a child and the little hairs that are suppose to help move the wax don't work. That also means I am truly fearful of doing anything crazy or even semi-dangerous with that ear. So if I can do it, so can you! I usually have to go to an ENT twice a year to remove wax--and since the pandemic, getting in front of a physician requires months of advance planning if its not urgent--and earwax is not urgent. But I can't plan when my ear will get clogged up! Its not just uncomfortable; I have trouble doing my job when I can't hear out of one ear. I love this product. It will save me so much time and money!

I purchased this after a doctor mentioned I had a build up of earwax. I always use a qtip after the shower until it comes out clean, so I didn’t understand. This thing is amazinggg! Set up was so simple, and I was cleaning my error within 5 mins. Let me tell you…I didn’t realize how little my qtips were doing! It’s gross, but also weirdly satisfying. My ears are a little sore after using, but I did dig in them for quite some time. They are so much cleaner! I will use this from here on out to make sure things stay clean. The camera view is great, and it has a light on the tip so you can see in your ear canal. It’s wild to see a part of your body that you’ve never seen before! Highly recommend to others. I never leave reviews but felt this was so helpful that it deserved one.
