Quick assembly, lightweight, well made... makes ladder secure
This stabilizer is a must have if you are a cautious ladder climber. Periodically I climb 20+ feet to address jobs both inside and outside my home. It's quick to assemble, light weight, locks into place, quality, well made. A must have tool at a fair price... this stabilizer is a game changer, creates a solid contact with any wall.

Outstanding product by Werner
Outstanding product by Werner. Simple assembly, easy to attach to my extendible Werner ladder, and most importantly it provided significant stability allowing completion of spring gutter cleaning on a windy Chicago day. Wish I’d found this stabilizer years ago. Do keep in mind it does add a minor amount of weight at the top of ladder, so you’ll need to adjust to that when moving the ladder. I found it easiest to simply lift and elevate the ladder carefully moving laterally while ensuring the feet of the stabilizer were free of contact with the roof. The second minor issue during use was that the rubber caps that attach to the feet of the stabilizer can become detached when you’re moving the ladder. So, you may want to tape them to the legs to avoid that occurring. Having said that, without any question the gains from stability reduced risk of the ladder toppling and serious personal injury making this a high value addition for my home DIYs.

Works well but be sure to measure your ladder to confirm that this unit will fit.
Attaches very easily and is very stable. It would be nicer if the legs were a little longer so the standoff distance was greater, maybe an extra 2 inches. Be sure to measure the inside width of your ladder to be sure this unit will fit. I am using it on a fold-up ladder and it just barely fits, I may have to grind off 1/8-1/4 inch so it fits easier.

Light and convenient
I'm a DIY-er with a 1930's single story house. I recently used my Werner AC78 Quickclick Ladder Stabilizer over the course of two full days while replacing all of the gutters on my 1,000sq/ft house. I attached it to a Little Giant Leveler. If you're wondering... yes, you can rest it on your roof and clear 5 inch K gutters easily. Below are my thoughts. INSTALLATION: First and foremost, the convenience factor of the AC78 Quickclick Stabilizer is simply outstanding. Installation is a breeze, and it's incredibly user-friendly. The quick-click mechanism is aptly named – it securely attaches to your ladder in seconds, and you're ready to go. No more fumbling with complicated attachments or tools. This alone has saved me precious time on my projects, allowing me to focus on the task at hand. WEIGHT: One of the standout features of this stabilizer is its lightweight design. It's astonishing how something so compact can make such a significant difference in the stability of your ladder. Despite its featherweight build, it provides unparalleled support and security, even on uneven surfaces. This not only puts my mind at ease when working at heights but also minimizes the fatigue associated with carrying heavy stabilizing equipment. It's a game-changer for those who need to transport their ladder frequently. HOW IT PERFORMED Moreover, the AC78 Quickclick Stabilizer offers peace of mind. With its robust construction and reliable attachment mechanism, I felt remarkably secure and stable while working at heights. It significantly reduces ladder wobbling and sway, boosting confidence in my abilities and helping me maintain better balance.

These work well but I found the rubber ladder tips worked as well, for $8
I bought these to give me some standoff and make accessing the roof easier. I found that using my neighbor's shorter extension ladder, plus adding the Werner rubber ladder tips, worked as well. These are really great if you want to climb on the roof without removing the gutters first, so will be extremely useful in the future. They also make it much easier to work on my high-mounted security lamps and cameras. They also come in useful when painting the highest portions of my house. Overall I am quite pleased but I could probably do without them. They do require my extension ladder to be extended about 3 notches when in use. My ladder is a bit too tall for that but my neighbor's extension ladder is shorter... works fine for spray painting the upper section of the house. Both the tips and these add stability to a ladder. I don't know about you but I am always afraid of a ladder slipping when I'm in the air. (That's happend to my friends/relatives and I'm way too old to take a a fall of 8 feet, landing on a ladder.)

Very safe and easy to use
Easy to assemble and make adjustments. I used 2 of the stabliziers on a sparated 22 foot Werner extension ladder each being 11 foot long with ladder jacks and a Telescoping Aluminum Work Plank. I weight 270 lbs. and it was very stable, with no flex or noticable movement. Highly recommend.

Works great, but a few small issues over time
I’ve been using this stabilizer for almost two years and it works great overall. It makes the ladder feel much more stable and safe. The only downsides are the little rubber end caps — they wore out and got destroyed over time, so I had to buy replacements. I wish it came with an extra set from the start. Also, the small chain broke eventually and I had to weld it back together. Other than that, it’s been solid and I still use it regularly.

Great Product
This product works great. It is aluminum, so it is lighter than some similar products out there. That makes a huge difference when trying to control the position of the ladder. It is light, but also very stable and durable. What I like about it the most, however, is how easy it is to assemble, put on, and remove from the ladder.

Makes ladder work so much safer
This is a great product. It fits on my extension ladders that are not Werner and it looks like it would fit most. It does a great job of spreading your weight out on the roof so you can be safe on the ladder and lean to the sides. The rubber stoppers on the ends are nice and protect the roof, while preventing it from sliding. Note that once it's attached, it adds a lot of top weight to the ladder, so it will throw off the balance when you try to move it. There's no way to avoid this.

Very good stabilizer
Great product. I don’t even need to remove it when putting the ladder on my pickup. They look like bull horns which looks cool. Lol It adds a lot of safety for anyone going high up. I feel much safer.

Works great
Keeps the ladder away from the eavestroughs and keeps the ladder more steady for climbing.
