Really like this spagetti, it's easy to use and fully cooks in about 5 minutes so saves me loads of time on days that I'm busy. It's made from wheat, excellent quality, tastes good and is firm yet tender. You get a lot of spagetti in the packet and I've already had 3 good sized dinners out of it and I've some left over. Absolute bargain of a price too, happy to recommend it, and I've just ordered 4 more packets for myself. Five stars from me.

This review is for the "by Amazon Quick Cook Spaghetti, 500g" listing. We love spaghetti in my house; it is easy, filling and delicious. I go through a lot of spaghetti noodles, and tend to grab what is on offer if I am not planning a special dish. I have had other Amazon food products that I really liked, so when I saw this at a similar price point to what I would pay in the grocery store, I decided I would try it out. The pasta arrived in the standard clear plastic noodle wrapping with clear labelling. The noodles looked just like every other package of spaghetti noodles I have ever purchased. I had a quick look over the instructions and storage requirements, all were the standard you'd see elsewhere. I used half the package to make dinner, and made it how I always cook spaghetti noodles. With the noodles cooked to al dente, I strained them and tossed them into my bolognese sauce and coated them thoroughly. They made a fine plate of food for dinner. There was no noticeable texture or taste difference from any other box I have tried before, and the quality was great and met expectations. At 74 pence, these are good noodles. I know that cheaper ones can be found elsewhere, but if you need these quickly and can't make it to the store, they are good value for the money. We are pleased with these, and I would order them again.

Practical for a quick meal. It's easy to think that all pasta is pasta but this is not really the case. This pack of quick cook spaghetti is not going to blow anybody's mind. However, being able to cook it in 3 minutes can be mind-blowing because it means you can have a meal in less than 10 minutes! I used this to make gochujang and cream pasta and it's the best decision ever... perhaps because gochujang makes it all better! I l earned from my mistake with previous quick cook pasta and, this time, I trusted the process and let it cook for 3 minutes, no more no less. It was OK though I was convinced that it was softer than normal al dente. On the basis of how long it took to get the meal on the table, I would recommend because it's certainly convenient.

Spaghetti is often my go to for a quick meal when I am busy, but I often find that it takes much longer to cook than it says on the packet, meaning the rest of my meal is ready before the pasta. This Quick Cook Spaghetti is such a good price at £0.74 for 500 grams but did not think I would be that impressed. After all it contains Durum wheat and semolina which is basically what a lot of others contain. It says on the packet that it cooks in 2 – 3 minutes but as I like a softer texture, I calculated around 5 minutes. The pasta is quite a thin one and breaks very easily and I guess this is why it cooks so quickly. I set the pan of water to boil and prepared my spinach pesto sauce with added sausage meat, and by the time the spaghetti was cooked, my sauce was ready for the pasta to be added with a little of the pasta water. I did break the spaghetti in half before cooking, as my husband does not like the long strands. I have to say, I was very impressed as the spaghetti was lovely and soft (but not sticky or mushy) and although it did not have a strong flavour the pesto sauce meant that the whole meal was very tasty and easy to eat. I have given this item 5 stars and would fully recommend it.
