Ro faucet is metal male thread, while female fitting to connect it to filters is plastic. things dont work that way. leaked like crazy. how to fix it?

Thank you for your interest in our water purifier. There is an o-ring that sits inside the plastic fitting. Make sure it is properly seated, and also add Teflon tape to the tread. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
