I had 2 water filter housings that would not come off, I tried all other tools and tricks I could find online.. and FINALLY this strap worked like a charm.. I had to use a lot of elbow grease but was able to get enough leverage to get these bad boys off! I'm sure the previous owner (not me!) tightened these housings with the same strap! Thanks !!

I could not get the big blue filter loose with the plastic wrench that came with the system. A youtube video pointed me to this device so I bought it. Note that it uses a 1/2 inch ratched, not the more common 3/8. My local Home Depot did not have a 1/2โ ratchet, so I got a 1/2โ breaker bar. It was not quite as easy to use but once the wrench was tight it was great and the filter came off with little trouble. This wrench did not really have any instructions with it so it took a couple minutes to figure out how to use it, but it was not that hard.

Used to remove two water filter sumps which were stuck tight. Worked perfectly, and had to endure a lot of force.

Had real issues undoing a water filter. Tried all sorts of solutions. This did the job. Would certainly recommend it.

Good materials, easy to install and use although too large for my applications. Check its dimensions first for your needs.
