Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle

I bought the original switch back in 2017 and started playing it a lot but gradually realized it wasn't quite as much fun as I had hoped, with the less-clear screen than my TV and a smallish screen. But Nintendo engineers have done a great job with Switch2! The larger, higher-resolution screen of the device were immediately a huge hit with me and made playing even original Switch games more fun. The faster, better processor makes more complex games possible and it also makes for overall smoother gameplay. It still feels great in my hands, the way the original switch did, and the joycons are great. Hooking it to a TV is truly breathtaking and far outshines the original switch's capabilities in that regard! BUT be warned, your older micro-SD card which you may have used to expand the storage on the original Switch can NOT be used with Switch2! You need a very special microSD card which was developed by Samsung specifically to work with the Switch2, creating a newer faster microSD standard. It works very well, but it is pricier than the same size microSD-XC card. It MUST be a microSD-EXPRESS P9 card. If you make that purchase in addition to the Switch2 you will have lots of room for more games. Be sure to follow the instructions on the Switch2 card when you insert the microSD-EXPRESS card because you have to update the system to use that card AND you have to tell the Switch2 what sort of data you want on the microSD-EXPRESS card. You can store whole games but you have tell the Switch2 to do that. The Switch2 has a USB-C port on the top and on the bottom and they both work for charging, so you can put the cable in either one and keep on playing. The kickstand on the Switch2 is much more stable than the one on the original Switch and I've found that even for playing it handheld while sitting on the couch using the kickstand to help support the device can be helpfu. All in all I am very glad I made this purchase -- Mario Kart World is a fun game but most importantly the Switch2 is an excellent handheld gaming device!

This is a list of the major things that the Switch 2 has that the Switch 1 doesn’t. And things the Switch 2 has improved upon. New Features: 1: Gameshare (Gameshare means that multiple consoles can play on select games with only one purchase required) 2: Gamechat (Gamechat is a feature that allows you to chat with friends on the Switch 2 without having to use a separate device) 3: A Bulit in Microphone (this is used mainly for Gamechat) 4: A second USB-C charging port located at the top of the console (So you can play table top mode while charging) 5: 3-D Surround sound technology that will work on most TVs, And in handheld mode 6: Mouse controls (a new feature that lets you use the controllers like a mouse) 7: Magnetic Connecting controllers (all this means is that instead of sliding on they clip on magnetically) P.S These are strong magnets so controllers will not come off unless you want them to. Now onto improvements: 1: The Size of the console is much bigger than previously 2: The SL and SR buttons are much bigger for easier gameplay with friends 3: This Kickstand is awesome, no bias, just comparing to previous console This one is metal and will not fall off 4: Higher FPS (gameplay will be smoother and more enjoyable) These are all the major improvements. Now it is up to you whether these are enough. P.S If you want my opinion this thing is Really Sweet!!!

I made the jump from my 3DSXL, wanting to keep the portability and ensure i could play all the classics that nintendo does best. It came and was ready to play right out of the box. Incredible grafix and sound caught my attention and after a few hours of playing the Mario game I decided to actually check out the machine and it blew me away. It slipped into the TV module with no effort and the picture had me floored. Sound and controls were all simple to operate and just as easy and fun to play. The controllers are amazing they magnetically snap on to the machine for handheld use locking in so you can get into the game, OR you can pop them off with a very simple switch either give one to your friend and play head to head on the handheld or on a TV. connect them together with the help of the included magnetic holder, the two sides to connect for a separate controller that works with both the handheld unit and the TV even turn them into a nouse for some fun gaming . I feel as if i got two games for the price of one and the controllers can be used as a mouse or set them up for up to four players to enjoy this system on a high definition TV. Incredible computing power in a small but very comfortable and player friendly package. It has a speaker and micriphone built in and can easily take a nintendo compatable camera for online gaming and the web browser going forward. Charge as you play then drop it wirelessly into the dock and continue your game without missing a single game. This comes with everything for up to two people to play right out of the box. The price is so fair for all the enjoyment and possible ways to use this incredible gaming system. Nintendo really nailed every part of this game. Be aware they sall a pro controller which makes this even more pleasant for the long sessions. Make certain that you have lots of tine as the fun games will eat up many enjoyable hours. I could truly go on all day but real gamers will eat it up and newbies will be starting at the top.

The Switch 2 is not a big leap forward in terms of innovation and creativity from Nintendo, but compared to the Switch 1 it is better in every way (not surprisingly). Games load very fast, they look and sound beautiful, and they play smoothly. So far I've only really played Mario Kart World and Pokemon Scartlet & Violet, but they have all been excellent. Mario Kart World is definitely my favorite Mario Kart title ever now (and I loved Mario Kart 8 Deluxe). Back to the Switch 2 itself. I mostly use the new Pro controller, but the times I've used the included Joy-Con 2 controllers, they've worked great, including steering using the wheel adapter, which is a fun change of pace. Though I haven't used the mouse functionality yet. The screen is bright and looks really good. I haven't ever used the Switch 1 OLED, so I can't compare it to that. But I have no complaints in the visual department. The sound is also good enough from the Switch 2 speakers -- you can't expect much from small speakers on any device. However I mostly use either earbuds when playing handheld, or nicer speakers in dock mode. Speaking of dock mode, I appreciate that it docks more easily than the Switch 1, which I always seemed to have to struggle to find the port. The battery life is fine. I rarely ever play handheld out and about for more than an hour or 2. But if I ever do I just bring a portable battery bank with me, so I can keep it charged while playing. Also I rarely use the kickstand, but I appreciate that it's a lot more stable than the Switch 1's.

I’m really impressed by this new sequel to the OG switch. The graphics look really great! I’m really impressed with games like FF7 Remake, Cyberpunk and even old classics like Skyrim. Some games that didn’t run so well on the OG switch like Pokémon violet play a lot better. There are free or pretty cheap upgrades to many older games! The future looks bright with the promise of Fallout, new Mario games, Pokémon, maybe a new Zelda, a new Fire Emblem later in the year… The screen itself is a nice lcd panel. It’s no OLED. But… that will likely come in a few years as an updated system. And the magnetic joycons are really secure and slightly bigger than the older original system. The only negative would be that the system only includes 256gb of storage. And the new Micro SD Express storage cards aren’t cheap either. Especially if you choose a 512gb or 1tb option. No largest sizes exist yet. But; with some games taking 100gb or more each; you might not be able to keep everything on your system. Be aware that some games are fully on the game cartridge. Some are game key cards. They only contain a licence and the system will download the game. And now there are some games that only have a code in a box. Overall this is an amazing system! I’d definitely recommend people buy it!!!
