I’m really happy with this brush set! The quality is excellent for the price, and the brushes are very soft on the skin. They blend foundation, blush, and eyeshadow beautifully without leaving streaks. The sponge is also great and gives a smooth, flawless finish. The handles feel sturdy and comfortable to hold. These brushes make me look far more put-together than I deserve at 8am. The big fluffy one blends like a dream, the smaller ones handle detail work perfectly, and the sponges are soft enough to make my concealer behave They feel sturdy, wash well, and don’t shed all over my face — which is more than I can say for most brushes I’ve owned. Real Techniques always delivers, but this set’s a proper all-rounder and great value for money. Even my kids said I look like I’ve got fewer wrinkles or under-eye bags so I’m calling that a win

Lightweight brushes with a soft texture, very good application, excellent value for money.

I originally purchased this Real Techniques Everyday Essentials + Makeup Sponge Kit back in February 2021, so I have been using these brushes regularly for over 5 years. Overall, I still think this set is good for beginners and everyday makeup users. Pros: The bristles held up well Even after years of regular use and washing, the bristles are still soft, dense, and haven’t shed much at all. I expected at least one brush to become scratchy or loose over time, but they still perform really nicely. The blending quality is good. The brushes apply foundation, blush, bronzer, and powder evenly without leaving streaks. The larger face brush still blends product beautifully and doesn’t absorb too much makeup. Great beginner-friendly set The brushes are labeled clearly that even beginners can figure out their purpose easily. Sponge performs well The sponge expands nicely when damp and gives a smooth finish for foundation and concealer. It’s soft without feeling too squishy or flimsy. Mine lasted much longer than I expected with proper cleaning. Easy to clean I wash my brushes regularly, and these clean up well without holding onto too much product. The bristles dry relatively quickly and kept their shape better than some more expensive brushes I have owned. Cons: The biggest issue is the handle coating durability. While the actual brushes themselves are still strong and usable, the coloured coating/finish on the handles has started peeling off over time. This doesn’t affect the performance of the brushes, but aesthetically they don’t look as nice anymore. Considering how well the bristles survived, I wish the handles had been made with a more durable finish to match the longevity of the brushes themselves. I’m absolutely delighted with these makeup brushes. They leave a beautiful finish: the makeup blends perfectly and looks very natural. The bristles are super soft, don’t feel scratchy at all, and don’t waste product. You can tell from the first use that they are excellent quality. They are very pleasant to use and make makeup application much easier, both with powder and cream products. I highly recommend them and would definitely buy them again.
