Apartment Kitchen Sink Back-up Problems
I rate this product five stars. BACKGROUND My apartment is in the basement. The sinks in the three apartments above me are connected to the waste water drain pipe that is connected to my kitchen sink, as one might anticipate. But somewhere deep below the concrete foundation, below the level of my apartment, the waste water drain pipe is clogged. THE PROBLEM: Water backs up into my apartment's kitchen sink and frequently overflows onto the floor because the waste water from the sinks of the three units above me cannot enter the sewage pipes. Because I work in the legal field, I often have late evenings and nights. On numerous occasions, I returned home late to discover that my floor and sink were filled with someone else's discarded dishwater and I spent the next hour eliminating the water. My back muscles reminded me of my late-night escapades the following morning. When I told my landlord of the problem, he evaluated it, said it would take a week or two to fix the blockage because it was so deep in the building's concrete foundation, and offered me another apartment. Unfortunately, because of temporary personal issues I was not able to move to another apartment. I thus thought about the problem and, on a whim, looked up information online about the systems that pumped water out of containers. My investigation eventually led me to sump pumps and pool water extraction systems. After that, I looked into sump pumps. I was searching for a pump that would function effectively, be durable and well-built, turn on and off automatically, and be reasonably priced. THE SOLUTION: By chance, my search turned up InoKraft and its offerings. I've been using the product for about a week, and it's really effective. I sat the pump in my sink and connected it to a garden hose that travels into my bathtub. As a result, when the dishwater from the three apartments backs up in my sink, the InoKraft E-Float Automatic Sump Pump automatically pumps the dishwater water out of my sink and into my bathtub via the garden hose, allowing the dishwater to travel down another unobstructed drain line. Understandably, my solution to the problem is a very temporary one, however as far as I am concerned the InoKraft device affected my life and wellbeing positively and I CAN say that about extremely FEW products. Now I know that my opinion is necessarily biased as I have not tested all sump pumps that are on offer. However; I can tell you this: InoKraft E-Float Automatic Sump Pump worked for me as promised. And on a personal level, the pump paid for itself on the first day of use as it allowed me to return home without having to risk back pain by cleaning up spilled dishwater after a nine or eleven-hour workday. Would I purchase another sump pump from the company? Yes, I would without hesitation. The previous statement is naturally biased; InoKraft helped me address a temporary issue, and as someone who values loyalty, I always stick with those that do that.

Great Value for Money. Automatically Pumps Low Water Levels
Found this sump pump when searching for an automatic pump that I could reliably leave ON at the bottom of my basement stairwell (to prevent heavy rain from seeping into my basement door). Bought July 2025 and have had no complaints. I brought it inside for the winter months. I really like that its float switch registers low water levels, since my back door is only about 2.5 inches higher than stairwell slab. .. and yes, I know I need to rake out my stairwell.

Good Pump with Minor Issue
So far so good for pumping. The threads of the elbow won’t align up do that the elbow points directly vertical. If that was corrected then I would have given it 5*.

only 3 months in it runs non stop when plugged in. No way to make it go into auto float switch mode.
Auto mode stopped working after only 3 months of light use in auto mode. Now when I plug it in, it just runs non-stop. It says push button on front panel for 2 seconds to switch modes. It does nothing. They said it had a 3 year warranty, but when I tried to contact the company directly, their support link said that they would be unavailable for support for a week. I was in the middle of a storm and two more storms are coming this week. So I had to order a different brand of pump to be sure I had one by tomorrow. When this worked it had very good power and moved more water than my other brand of pump rated the same, but now it is worthless since it just runs and runs and runs for no reason. I cleaned the float and made sure that the it was moving properly, but it made no difference

Great Functionality, Meets Expectations
The pump worked well and functioned as expected, meeting my needs. However, the instructions on the packaging did not match the information on the website, which was confusing. According to the website, the pump would activate at a water depth of 1.5 inches, but the packaging stated 2-1/3 inches, which surprised me because that would not have met my requirements. Fortunately, in practice it did operate as described on the website, activating at 1.5 inches of water depth.

Quiet and dependable.
Powerful, quiet and dependable. Easy to install and takes up less room than the previous sump pump I had. The built-in float is so much better than the floating arm that the prior pump had which always got hung up. I highly recommend and I’m very pleased with the performance and my purchase.

Worth it!
I love the functional ability this has! It knows when to turn off and when to turn off. It’s very durable and with all the rain we’ve had, it doesn’t disappoint to make the flow of water go where it needs to.
