This wasn’t a cheap product price wise in my opinion but you get what you pay for. It feels sturdy with a quality build. I haven’t connected it to Alexa as I don’t want the kids to have the ability to mess with my stuff. But, the app was super easy to setup and works very well. I have some of the outlets on a timer program. When I manually shut an outlet off, the response time is remarkably quick from my phone. I am very impressed and happy with this purchase.

Es buena y construida con materiales que se sienten de mucha calidad. Funciona perfecto y puedes encender solo los enchufes que ocupes. Compatible con Alexa para encender o apagar, al igual que puedes hacerlo desde la app aunque no estés en casa. Los USB ayudan a cargar cosas sin el cubito (por ejemplo un firetv) Recomendada 100%

Perfect for the entertainment system, we can quickly power cycle the TV, Sound Bar, and Amazon Fire Stick with our phones when streaming apps get stuck or sound gets out of sync. The Kasa app that controls the power strip is easy to use and extremely responsive. The spacing on the outlets is perfect for power adapters for our electronics. Unfortunately you can't switch the USB ports on and off which would be the ultimate addition to this product. As far as surge protection, we recently had a power surge on the street that affected us as well as our neighbors, we all lost some random electronics from the surge that weren't protected by a power strip such as this. Everything that was plugged into this power strip survived, plus the electronics inside the power strip itself was able to tolerate voltage that went as high as 137.5v for a few seconds which was recorded by a sensor plugged into our house!

Very pleased! Purchased where I needed a new power strip and wanted one with smart integration. It was so easy to setup where I already have Kasa Bulbs. I also purchased so I can monitor our energy usage, especially during the on peak hours. It's a game changer for smart home or even for energy monitoring. I really enjoy being able to turn an outlet off by my voice (Alexa), using the Tapo app (love the widgets!), or by a tap on my watch through SmartThings. The app has schedules and timers which is extremely convenient, I use those features a lot. I also have routines setup through Alexa for some things on the strip and for my bulbs. Certain lights and things plugged in on the strip will automatically turn on when I get home at night which I'm sure has prevented some nasty falls down the stairs. My daughter loves it too. Before getting the strip she'd get all comfortable with her phone or tablet and just to find out her mom unplugged her charger since it wasn't being used. I didn't even realize how much time I was spending by unplugging and plugging things back in until I got the strip and it's been great. Energy monitoring has been great and the only thing I wish the strip had was the energy bill estimate like the Kasa mini plugs have. I was really hesitant on purchasing at first where someone mentioned the cord wasn't long enough but I've loved every product of Kasa's that I've purchased so far. I figured if it didn't work where I was wanting it then I'd still use it somewhere else. The cord was definitely long enough for me and was a lot longer than what I was expecting. I don't have pics where it's plugged in behind a huge heavy dresser and sits underneath it. It's one of my fav smart home devices and I'd purchase again.
