Is it true that Hydrox cookies came before Oreos?

The product description says you get only six cookies for more than eighteen dollars. Can this be right?

With the 8.6 oz. package size, you get six individual 8.6 oz. packages. Each 8.6 oz. package contains 18 cookies, so essentially you get 6 packages x 18 cookies/package = 108 cookies total. The box I received has an official sticker on it from the manufacturer/baker indicating a "6 ct 8.6 trays."

Will hydrox be back permanently or just limited production runs? Love them and hoping to see them on store shelves!

They may be limited if people do not buy them. Basically, Nabisco, who owns Oreo, uses anticompetitive practices to keep them off store shelves. They have contracts forbidding any grocery store from carrying Hydrox. If they break this agreement, Nabisco pulls ALL of their products from that store. This is why you can only find them online or in Cracker Barrel. The only way to keep Hydrox in production is for people to continue buying them, and to email your local grocery stores and let them know you refuse to buy Nabisco as long as they forbid competing brands.
