Update: Melts Away Tough Dead Skin!
Update: I bought this product May 2018 and reviewed it. I completely forgot I had it. I kept doing foot soaks and trying to use things to get the tough skin off my feet. I was looking in my closet for foot peels and found my callous remover that I thought I no longer had. Came back on here to re-read the reviews because I forgot how to really use it. 1st itโs been nearly 3 years and this product is still useable. 2nd I got better results because I soaked my feet first (didnโt soak my feet in 2018) in hot water 15 minutes. Then put this on my heel and side of heel only, because thatโs the only bad part of my feet. Because my skin on the heel is so hard I let this sit on my feet for 10 to 15 minutes. Then scraped the product off with this foot scraper thing I got. Rinsed my feet off and there was more skin to scrape off after rinsing my feet so I repeated that step then washed my feet. After about an hour I realized I STILL had hard dead skin. So I soaked my feet again, reapplied the callous remover. Let it sit there 10 minutes, scraped MORE dead skin then rinsed feet. They felt much better. This morning I repeated because my heels are so tough that I still had hard skin. The product works great. The problem is my feet :( anyway it took 3 times in 2 days but my feet feel great right now. Anyone who has seriously terribly hard skin on the heels of their feet can relate. You try a peel like baby foot that peels the whole foot good except your heels, and you feel kind of sad and disappointed. But Iโm telling you ladies and guys, if your feet are really that bad, repeat those steps in a few days 3 to 4 times. Yes thatโs time consuming but faster than the foot peels. I say do it 10 to 15 minutes 3 to 4 times in a few days because there is lye in this product. You have to be super careful because anyone back in the day remembering lye hair relaxers knows the dangers of lye. It will eat right through your skin! So be patient, take 2 days and I swear! Your feet will be soft like youโre a kid again a Lol. I hope this update helps! All those steps gave me better results than the first time I tried this in 2018. This is a really great product. I have really thick tough skin that builds up quickly on the heels of my feet. It is really annoying and uncomfortable. I use the foot peels from time to time such as baby foot which most of them work. However, you have to wait a week or longer for the acid to start to loosen the skin, and warm weather is now approaching. I don't want to have to walk around with sneakers on due to peeling skin. So I read all the reviews on this before buying. I was attracted to the fact that most of the reviewers state it only takes minutes for this product to work. First I got this callus remover in 2 days which was great. I immediately filled my foot bath with hot water to soak my feet for about 10 minutes. The directions say a few minutes but I was skeptical of only soaking my rough skinned feet for a few minutes. I then put on my gloves and applied this liquid to my feet. I like how it is sort of a thick gel like substance and not runny. Based on reviews I was a little worried about burning myself with an accidental spill. However, was pleased that it was a gel like non-runny consistency. I did wrap saran wrap carefully on my feet like they do in the nail salon. I accidentally got this liquid on my ankle and quickly used a wet cloth to wipe it off because it was burning my ankle! I didn't realize I had some sort of cut on my ankle. So be very careful when applying this callus remover! You can burn yourself if you have any cuts or if it gets on more thinner skin! I already had a wet wash cloth handy just in case this might happen, as I am kind of clumsy. I waited about 5 minutes then took my towel and started to rub the substance off of the heels of my feet and was shocked that this super thick hard skin on my heels was actually crumbling off my feet! I used the towel to rub the gel off both feet then washed them in water, and began to use a foot shaver and foot file to get the softened skin off. I wish I took some pics for you guys. Because for those of you out there suffering from tough skin on feet, we all rely on these reviews to not waste out money! But I can tell you right now, if you have tried the foot peels which take weeks to fully work, you will be blown away by this callus remover cream. My feet are not perfect because i have such thick skin on the bottom of my feet. But I know after the 2nd and 3rd application I will be in good shape. Actually the condition of my feet has improved by 90% today in a matter of minutes due to this product! My feet already feel much better and soothed now. I applied 100% African shea butter to my feet which is a very thick and effective natural moisturizer, for those of you who don't know. I order that on Amazon too. And wearing thick socks right now with no more discomfort. I will wait a week and reapply this callus remover to my feet a 2nd time and maybe every week or once or twice a month to help, along with soaking in a foot bath. For those of you who buy the one time use chemical peels, you will not be disappointed with this product. You will see you are saving money because you can purchase this and use many times, unlike those chemical foot peels!

Wow this works really well!
I bought this some time ago and finally used it for the first time last night. I used my foot spa and soaked my feet for 25 mins then I dried them and applied a decent amount to both feet. I let mine set in for about 7 mins then I put my feet back in the foot spa and used the callus remover and it was so easy. My feet feel so smooth. When I use my callus remover alone my feet never get this smooth. I'll definitely continue to use this product. Great for diabetics and anyone with horrible calluses.

Works great, but very messy
Be careful with this . It came with out instructions and it will burn your skin if itโs not on calluses. Itโs really meant to be a professional product.

Soft as a baby's bottom
Works! I have rough and dry feet. No matter how many pedicures i got. I purchased this and it truly works! my feet are baby soft and they STAY that way. It has been a week since i used it and they are still soft. The only downside is that it is very slippery and jelly like so you have to be careful so it wont slip off the scrubber. Also it can damage the skin on your hands, it is quite strong. I suggest using gloves when you do use it.

Eh, made an improvement but not a miracle worker
My feet are always so embarrassingly disgusting. In the winter, the cracks are so deep that they bleed. Iโve tried so many things but the thing that works the best is 40% urea cream (bought on Amazon in a tub for $16). I figured Iโd try out this gel in an effort to save money from the pedicure. I will admit, once it arrived, it took me a week to get the nerve to use it. The burn photos were pretty awful in the reviews. Iโm happy to report I had no burning feeling anywhere. I first soaked my feet about 20 mins and then wore the gloves to apply the gel. It wasnโt clear how much to use. Perhaps next time I really glob it on. I was afraid of excess getting onto softer spots of my feet. The bottle says to leave it 5-10 mins but the directions in the package say 3-7. I started with 3, but when I tried to use the rasp, nothing came off so I let it sit another couple minutes until 5 mins. Perhaps next time I try the 7. After the time was up, I rinsed it off, dried my foot on a towel and got to work with the rasp. I already owned a rasp, also from Amazon, and this didnโt seem to be any different from the $10 one I had. I was a bit afraid of using too much pressure on the rasp due to other reviews but eventually had to put some more weight on it. It was like grating a block of Parmesan - hard enough to grate the cheese but not so hard it digs to the middle of the cheese block! Some dead skin definitely came off. I noticed best results where the calluses werenโt thick. In those spots, my feet look pretty decent. But in the nasty caverns of my heel, it still looks pretty gross. Iโm going to try the whole process again in another few days. Iโm not sure how quickly you should do it again; seems like it could be quite the chemical. Iโm also going to sleep in socks with some urea cream tonight. Typically two consecutive nights of urea and my feet feel super soft. Perhaps this scrubbing will give it a head start. Iโm not super convinced the gel here did too much work. Had I soaked my feet and did the rasp, I suspect my results may be similar. Also, this obviously isnโt a forever fix. Itโs something youโd need to keep up with, much like sleeping with lotion and socks - and frankly, thatโs my problem. It took about 30 mins from start to finish on this. I suppose the urea lotion is quicker. Eh. Worth a shot.

OMG! It works just like the salon! Details in my review โฟโ โฟโ
This was my first time using a product like this (Iโve used the โface shopโ foot peels that you leave on for 90 min in foot a bag for them to work. One amazing result, the other times it was so-so at best, Iโve heard now that your feet have to be bad for it to work, we will see.) This product worked fantastic! I used a metal foot file I bought as well (looks a little like a fine cheese grater... donโt be afraid but donโt go overboard. I used the rounded side), I do have a spot on the side of one big toe where I took too much off- my fault and not a big deal. I took a shower first (instead of soaking my feet) then used a fold top baggie (I didnโt have any gloves) over my hand to spread a thin/medium layer onto my calloused foot areas (plus a quick/thin layer all over the BOTTOM of my while foot. Also, if you have any cuts- this will burn. Stay away from the nail polishโฆ I learned from the foot peel that nail polish, even gelish, will come off with chemicals like this. (with the foot peels I actually will intentionally have the liquid on my nails but I plan to do a pedicure afterwards so it helps remove the polish, you cannot control the foot peelโs because your foot is in a bag but this chemical I was unsure of and I can control where it goes so I kept it away). I left it on for exactly 5 minutes (it said 3-5). I did one foot at a time. At the 5 min mark, I used the metal foot file and OMG the callous came off! Gentle scraping, no pain. It was gross and wonderful at the same time! A yucky mush of dead skin was coming off! Donโt try to get all of it the first time if your feet are bad, you will take too much off and it will hurt. I did not put any between my toes ( no need to do there and how would I get the foot file in there?, but I would have tried if I had needed it). The thing I liked least was it was hard to scrub the gel off. I ended up using my body scrub cloth, I didnโt want to leave the gell on too long. I highly recommend! I was so tired I went straight to bed but it wouldโve been even better had I put lotion on my feet before I went to bedโฆ They are probably 90% better today than before I did itโฆ And I think if I do it once more in a few weeks it will be 100%! PS I live on the beach and my feet get dry easily from the salt air/salt water. I walk barefoot daily (beach house living). I thought living on the beach, my feet would always be soft from walking on the sand but it is truly oppositeโฆ With the salt air/water, your feet dry and get callous more than anywhere else Iโve lived. This is a great product! I will update if it stops working on future uses... Update: still is amazing! My feet hurt a little where I went overboard with the file but that way my error and not bad. I noticed they still had callouses in some of the bad spots a few days later (salt water/sandwill do that too). I waited a few weeks and just did it again. Fantastic! I did less this time but concentrated on the areas that needed it most. It is not the following morning and they are wonderful and soft and pink! I should had done before and after pics but the โbeforeโ was so grooms and NO amount of cleaning would clean them! My family would tease me because me feet looked worse than anyoneโs even though I tried the hardest. I thought part of it was the black soles of my favorite shoes (slippers we call them) but now I am thinking that it was actually the pumice bar that I would use every dayโฆ I think itโs shredded the soles of my feet just enough to take some dirt but allow lots of uneven areas to catch new dirt even worse than before. Since I did this every day I think I was making my feet worse than if I had done nothing. At least thatโs the only thing I can think of because I would wash my feet five or six times a day easily. Anyway... baby soft and pink now! Take it slow and do not go overboardโฆ I bet you will have amazing results in two her three times!

The real solution for cracked heels
I have monster cracked heels with so hard to remove hard dead skin. This works magic in one application. Just go for it blindly. One of the best product I have found for my heels after so many trials.

Best Callus Remover Iโve Used โ Almost a Year of Soft, Smooth Feet! 5 stars!
Iโve been using the LEE Callus Remover (Original) for almost a year, and itโs one of the best foot care products Iโve tried. It works amazingly well. My routine: Wash feet thoroughly with soap and water, dry them, apply a generous amount of gel to callused areas (heels, sides of toes), wrap with kitchen plastic wrap for 10โ15 minutes, rinse with warm water, then gently scrape with a pumice stone or foot file. The dead skin comes off effortlessly, leaving feet soft, hydrated, and super smoothโlike a professional spa pedicure! I use it every 2โ4 weeks to keep calluses under control year-round, even in dry winter months. Important note: It can sting if applied to open cuts, sores, or broken skinโavoid those areas or wait until healed. Overall, highly recommended for effective, long-lasting results at home without expensive salon visits. Totally worth it! 5 starts!๐

Works really well!
This is a great product. I decided to take a before and after photo comparison to make a review here. The before looks awful (sorry! LOL.) but the terrible texture was from the rasp that I was using to get rid of the hard skin after just soaking it in water. After 3 uses, my foot looks like on the after. There is still a bit of cracked skin but only cuz it's a bit hard for me to rasp on that area. I would totally recommend this product! It helps to soften the dry skin very well. How I use it is put the gel on the callous after soaking my feet, and leave it for 6-7 mins. Make sure you're using a glove and that you don't get the gel on other soft skin as it will sting! The sting feels a bit like a mild road rash. Just gently rinse it off if you get any on your soft skin when it starts stinging. Once the 7min is up, I rinse off the gel and then quickly rasp the dead skin. Work as quickly as possible as it becomes less effective after about 2-3 min as your skin starts drying.

Good product but only for tough and thick callouses
This stuff works wonderful. I've had bad callouses since I was a kid and even pedicures can't get rid of them. They got to the point of being really painful. I used this and left it on for 5 minutes. Softened up the callouses enough that when I used the callous file my feet look like the feet I've never seen before.I went to aggressive though and took good skin off and bleed, but that's my own fault. You will need a callous file to remove the dead skin. Edit: I have had this little gem for think 9 months now. I've only used it twice. Once when I got it. Once a few weeks later to get my feet where I really wanted them to be and once yesterday to help freshen them up. One warning: if your callouses are not rock hard, you do not need to use this for 5-10 minutes. The cream causes tingling which stays after washing and after using a callous remover tool to shave the dead skin off. My feet never were a normal kind of soft, as a kid I used to use the pool a lot, then as a teen i used to walk everywhere, then as a young adult i went into the labor industry and and then I went to an office where I wore heels almost daily. I have always had calloused heels and often will get cracks in them, I always have. So this cream in conjunction with the callous removing tool really help a ton and with removing those callouses I actually feel so much more comfort than I've ever felt with walking but I caution use of this cream, do not overuse it. If you only have some light callouses... you wont need it.
