Great knife. Very good looking. Blade came shaving sharp, and is easy to keep a consistent edge on. Perfect size for reasonable daily use. Light weight, and the sheath is the perfect size and formfactor to carry in the pocket or on the belt for daily carry. When carrying a fixed blade knife for daily use, I appendix carry on the belt or to the waistband of my pants. Keep this in mind if you're a big guy like me. The thumb ridge on the sheath can dig into your stomach depending on belt placement. I had to sand the edges and round them out to make it more comfortable. But that's a me problem, not a product problem.

Perfect EDC fixed blade. Very slim, very ergonomic, Fits in jeans pocket with a cell phone comfortably. I did install the ulti-clip on mine. I will admit mine was not very sharp when it arrived. After attempting a strop, I did take it up on myself to sharpen it

This knife works! It's not going to be your bushcraft main knife but it can be it's buddy. I tried wearing it as a neck knife but didn't like it (my personal opinion). Put a Ulticlip on and it slipped into my pocket but for me I liked it better when I used the included belt clip. Easy to deploy and put back in it's sheath. Speaking on the sheath, it's a little flimsy but works. Easy to mold work a little hear gun if you feel you need to. The grip is better suited for people with a smaller hand. I felt like I had to constantly adjust my hand to get comfortable. It's sharp enough to cut things that would make this a perfect EDC knife, just didn't expect to split wood with it.

I have a bit of a disgruntled outlook on the knife industry these days. So many designers and knife tubers that review (that give feedback to companies) seems to base their experience from their backyard and occasional day trip to their area state park. And for whatever reason, so many fixed blade knives, particularly these smaller form factor ones, are too thick in the spine. Not every fixed knife needs to be a dedicated bushcraft / batoning / chopper knife. Finesse is desirable, particularly in these smaller knives, and Kizer has done the Mini Harpoon appropriately. So all that to say that the Harpoon may be my new favorite small fixed knife and I look forward to finding out how it performs on field dressing and quarting deer this season. I suspect it'll perform admirably. It's thin and a slicer, but with 3V steel, it'll be plenty robust within it's expected use case limitations. The micarta scales are nice. I may shave the front of the scales thinner to create a better pinch point. But, Kizer really hit it out of the park with this knife.

decent knife, steel is a bit soft can scratch and gouge it fairly easily. if you use it as a normal edc knife it’s good, wouldn’t recommend as a survival knife.
