Good Quality and effective for the price!
Due to a blemish on my new refrigerator, Lowes gave me 50% off just to keep it. I happily accepted because they refunded me nearly $1,500. I decided to try this $37 kit to see if I could make the dent less visible. The kit is surprisingly high quality for the price. The key is patience. The tab will come off after a certain amount of pull pressure is applied. This allows you to check your progress. I glued the tab on 4 times to get the dent out. The next part was much more time consuming. There was a slight bubble left from pulling the dent out. The kit comes with a rubber mallet and tools to tap the metal flat. This took me over an hour to get the metal perfectly flat as stainless steel is very unforgiving with light reflection. I was pretty happy with the result as it greatly reduced the blemish by at least 80%. Just enough not to look terrible! Great product if you are careful and have patience!

quality dent remover for small dents
I read many of the reviews. The quality of the device is good. In general this is for small dents. The puller allows for incremental pull up distance . If you have big dents you will likely need a different puller. I did use the biggest tab and the puller did not have the distance to pull it up. The glue kept the tab stuck to the car and the puller was fully depressed. The tabs are good and strong. As other reviewers have mentioned it is missing instructions. I thought this was a non issue as I could look up usage on internet but there are things that only Gliston could offer insights. Here are a few: 1) What is difference between yellow and black glue sticks? Their email response said yellow is stronger - though my trial and error indicates black is stronger. 2) how long to wait for glue gun to melt? My experience is it's not long enough to wait for melt, you need to wait longer for hot. So I would think 5+ minutes. Too soon and my glue would not stick to the car it would pop off when I used the puller. Waiting longer solved it. 3) which tab to use? This is not Gliston specific but in general too small meant more work. Bigger seemed better. The downside is once pulled I usually had a bump - I still do not know how to effectively make it look flat. Getting bumps down is much much harder than pulling dents up. I would buy again but plan on spending time getting it done perfect. Pulling dents itself is rather fast. Getting it flat is still an art I have yet to master.

Will remove clear coat and paint.
Instructions are generic and not for a specific item. They don’t tell you what the difference is between the black sticks and the yellow ones so I started with the black ones because they seemed like a stronger material. It was definitely strong. Spraying alcohol on it does nothing and the scraper is too flimsy to make a difference. Reheating the material just makes it smear. I assume it’s oil or petroleum based because once it finally came off it took the clear coat with it. The yellow stick was actually stronger and hardened to the point where I couldn’t get the attachment head off of the truck. That material had to be removed with a heat gun as well and it smeared substantially worse. Maybe it’s not meant for 14 year old clear coat but I would save your money and get suction cups or a regular glue gun. Now I have the same dents and missing paint.

Good for the money
I had a dent in my fender and door after a deer hit it. There was no paint damage and the repair shop want to replace the fender and essential repaint the whole side of the car. $1600. I saw videos of this type of tool being used by professionals so I decided to give it a try, after all, $50 vs $1600. Overall, the tool worked well. For the larger dent sections, just fold the feet up and pull instead of using the trigger or buying the t-handle if it's a one time deal. Negatives: the instructions are very poor. You have to search through a pamphlet for the part that pertains to the tool you bought and then, if you follow the instuctions, you will not have luck. It instructed to let the glue cure for 3-5 minutes, but that makes the glue to brittle and cracks instantly. 10-20 seconds was the right time frame at 40F. The tool also feels very cheap. The rubber boots fall off the feet often and the bolts holding the feet on aren't even tight, the nuts fell off when I was just looking at it. All these are easy to get around for the price though

Convinced This Skeptic
I am pleasantly surprised that this actually works. Very simple and effective. I was not able to achieve perfect results, but I was able to remove 80% of a large dent that was at the roof/side junction on my wife's Kia Soul. The dent is in a really bad spot and was really ugly, but now, while still noticeable, it's a vastly improved. The glue really sticks and it did remove the clearcoat in a couple of spots, but that was easily repaired. Take your time and follow the simple directions and this kit really works. To get the glue off of the car I used a hair dryer to soften, then used the included scraper, and then a citrus cleaner to remove all residue.

Worked on stainless steel jug, but you gotta keep at it!
Used this product to fix my dented Yeti rambler! My one gallon stainless steel jug fell out of my car and ended up with a sizable dent so I decided to give this kit a try. It was very easy to use out of the box although the instructions weren’t too helpful, the process was fairly trivial: insert glue stick into glue gun; turn on glue gun and wait until glue is hot; find an attachment that matches the size of the dent; apply hot glue to the attachment and immediately place onto the dent; wait several minutes for the glue to cool, and use the puller to pull the dent out; repeat over and over until the dent is less noticeable or gone. I would note that this process took several iterations and sometimes the glue would get stuck to the plastic attachments and would be a pain to remove to repeat the process. From my experience, I used the puller slowly and eventually the force of pulling would overwhelm the adhesion force and the attachment would pop off. Each time this happened the dent would slowly get better.

No luck - kept coming off.
Glue would keep separating from pad. Spent 2 sticks on one area. Found that covering the pad on the topside as well helps kinda, but then glue would separate from dented area. I gave up. So now I have this kit just incase I want to give it another try. 2 stars for having a nice kit. Dent on right is what I tried is pictured.

Good value, and a very helpful Iphone set of tools.
Follow the instructions and watch the user video on Youtube and you won't be disappointed. I was able to pull out four different dents that were various sizes. Take your time and do it correctly. No longer skeptical!

Its works!
I was very skeptical of the product but after reading the reviews I decided to try it. It worked! I had a dent on my the top of the front drivers side wheel well area and this device did the trick! Its not super perfect as I haven't taken the time to use the hammer and tools it came with. However the main dent is out and it is practically unnoticeable. Must buy!

Quality only on par with Chinese made items that can be purchased at a third the price.
Price is excessive for what you get.

Hardly paintless
I used this in an attempt to pull a few very minor dings from a car without painting it. Although the paint was original, it pulled it off to bare metal in about 50% of cases. In a further 30% of cases the dents could not be removed to a satisfactory standard, and required a small amount of filler. Therefore 80% of the work required painting - thus a poor 20% success rate!
