would they fit on a head?

Yes they do fit in a head. But they are polyester and not cotton so they are very slick on one side( colored side) and rough on the other side. I would say the only thing they are good for is decoration. Not good for wearing unless your in preschool and just want colors

They are only printed on one side. However, the pattern shows through on the other side. It is just not so bright.
