I purchased this WONDERFUL COMPLETELY WORTH THE MONEY recliner cushion for my mom who had developed a pressure sore on a heel and in the mid-back/spine area. Mom spends most of her awake time in a lift chair/recliner and it really does not have the best cushioning. The Repose Contour Pressure Relieving Cushion Pad has by far exceeded my expectations for providing comfort as well as, aiding in the healing and prevention of pressure sores. She has spent extended periods of time sitting in her recliner with this cushioning pad and her back has showed NO REDNESS or MARKINGS/INDENTATIONS which have occurred when using other pads and even the mattress topper/bedding. Mom enjoys the comfort of the Repose cushion so much, that she's even asked if she can sleep in recliner vs bed at night!! Directions were easy to follow regarding use of the pump that was included for inflation, holds the air very well (only had to air up once since the first time), it fits well in the lift chair and the cover cleans up spills easily with a damp cloth. The cost seems high, but it would have been more expensive to purchase a new recliner and even then, no guarantee that it would give us some relief with pressure sores. Thank you so much for providing such a high quality product, that genuinely delivers what it claims to do! P.S. Ever consider manufacturing a mattress topper?? Just saying 😀

I like that you can wipe it clean and you can put it on a bed too. Make sure you sit on it while inflating so you can get the right comfort for you. It’s a little pricey but worth the money if it helps with pressure sores.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to inflate this. I watched all their videos and read the manual. The tube-shaped pump attached to the valve, but never inflated more than touch of air. Then I couldn't deflate it to remove that touch of air to repackage for a return. The inflatable cushion that goes in the outer cover is cheaply made and would need to be inflated again within 14 days. Ugh.

Sores are subsiding, and that's why we got this. It's a tad bit expensive, but if it works, it works.

The air cushion is the ultimate in comfort! It was easy to assemble and attach to the chair. the LazBoy is not a soft chair but this cushion transforms it to a very comfortable sit or sleep. it is well worth the investment for anyone with back problems or other physical issues.

We bought this for a bedridden family member who goes to dialysis. She had trouble with the recliners in the dialysis center because they became quite hard after a few hours. This was just perfect. The staff puts it between her and the dialysis recliner and she is more comfortable. Great product.

I was under the impression that this was an automatic alternating inflatable pad for recliners, since it was the only option i found on amazon, i figured it was worth the price. It is not, compared to the mattress pad that i bought the same day(delivered different days) for a third of the price, this seems cheap and unruly. It comes with a large manual canister pump that i can't imagine using daily to inflate and deflate the pad. In addition as others have pointed out, the inflatable material has the quality of a cheap beach ball, every thin. Overall if it works for some, then great; but this has the long term care mark up. There is no reason this item should be $250. It's frustrating that companies do this. I'm returning this and purchasing a much much cheaper, manual inflating pad. I just had i have to lose out on the 6 dollars it cost to ship this back.

Purchased for my mother. She sleeps in her lift chair and had been battling pressure wounds on her bottom for 3 years. She's had this product for about 6 weeks and the wounds have healed. She loves the comfort of the cushion as well. So far, I'm highly impressed with this product. My only wish is that the medical field in the United States would get on board with this product and offer it for the tons of Americans that rely on their lift chairs to sleep in at night. This product is costly but awesome!

I received the cover and the pump i did not receive the internal cushion !! Fraud 0 stars

The pump was missing from the order so couldn’t use the pressure relieving overlay at all . Very annoying as I needed it for my mother’s discharge from Hospital as she is very unwell . Now have to arrange a return and reorder which will take several days .

The speed of delivery was great. Ordered about 10pm and arrived by mid morning via royal mail. With this kind of product getting it quickly is very important. Easy to pump up and put on the chair. Comfy to sit on with a lovely soft cover that is wipe clean. District nurse visited and was impressed with it. Only used it for one day so far but I think it will be worth the price tag in the long run. The standard foam cushions are unsafe on a recliner chair so this thinner air filled one is perfect and especially shaped.

Expensive and not sure if needed but will use it occasionally. Would have preferred it to look like a part of a chair and not blue with white writing on it and feet to show which way up but maybe thats required

This item is designed that the lower part straps around the rising part of the chair. This has caught onto the mechanism as the chair was reclining, which has caused the pad to essentially burst. A lot of money to spend with no returns/ replacement option.
