Much of the looks of this device is very toy-like, with lots of useless plastic knobby buttons and stuff, however, as far as functionality goes it's extremely fast and the password protection works flawlessly. After setting a password and unplugging the drive, it will not connect to a computer until you enter the password. The only really negative thing about it is the weight. It's very heavy, unnecessarily so. If it were made of solid plastic instead of solid metal, it would be much lighter and just as strong, probably less likely to break internally or get damaged visually if you were to drop it on a hard surface.

I purchased the 1TB version mainly for recording ProRes video with my iPhone 15 Pro. It connected without any complicated setup, and I was able to record directly to the SSD. This is much more practical than filling up the phone’s internal storage during longer shoots. The drive is compact enough for a mobile video setup, and it did not add much weight to my rig.

As far as a device it's ok it's heavy to carry around! One of the features that it claims to have is, if it's lost, you can track it not true. This device is incapable and doesn't have the hardware to support that that was my main reason to purchasing it. I'm returning it because it does not and cannot one it would need a battery to power such a circuitry in the circuitry is not there.

Looks cool, doesn’t work

Most portable SSDs look almost identical, but this one stands out because of the screen and overall design. It looks clean and modern without being overly flashy. I have used it with both my Windows computer and MacBook, and switching between devices has been straightforward. The combination of portability, USB-C performance, and the on-device display makes it a good option for travel and everyday storage.

It is made by dicast metal? very heavy. You can enjoy password lock. But it is not serious user. If you open case, you can get M.2 SSD and it is not locked.

This product is quite heavy compare to other brands in the market. The touch screen is so small that "big finger" like me cannot really manage it. Plus, the touch screen response extremely slow, which caused me pressing the password one more time ... however, screw up the password that I keyed in. I would say it is not suitable for me, it can be fine with other users.
