My granddaughter is 1 years old and loves the book. It makes reading fun. This book is worth it and makes the perfect gift.

Entertain and educational and encourages reading!
Our 18 month old really enjoys this book and its interactive features! The lift-the-flap and slide features are great for her dexterity and entertainment and the pages are colorful and filled with fun and often funny images. We have a great time exploring each room, making the sounds of the various animals seen, and practicing words and recognition for things like dog, sun, book, apple, etc. My one critique is that the sliding pieces often get stuck and are hard for her to manage without help. And she's at the stage she really wants to be able to do it herself. Overall, though, a great book I highly recommend to other caregivers!
