I chose to order both options thinking the smaller could be best for keeping a somewhat low profile. The 24L fit everything with space for growth while the 20L quickly became limiting. I didn't put anything in it because the difference was clear and the next person to purchase the bag would likely want that feeling first, so that was preserved. Tenba makes great bags that solve problem while also being excellent craftsmen. The Axis is a big win. If you plan to grow your kit or are uncertain - the larger option is best.

Great bag but too small. Avid photographer would bring multiple lenses. Doesn't fit enough. If didn't need to bring multiple lenses, then wouldn't need dedicated camera bag. Any backpack would do.

Bag looks good - going on a 12 day photography trip to the Canadian Rockies, will provide a thorough review when we return.
