This blender will do it all. I just made some Mole and there’s not even any grit left over after putting it in the soup setting. Very smooth. And once you have it on the setting, it starts off slow and then it speeds up and will automatically shut up.

This is my second Vitamix. Good blender overall. Would give a 5-star, but it does struggle a bit in certain situations we can't explain and tends to smell when it does, as if the motor is burning. But we use this almost daily and it's a workhorse.
