I got these for my son's room and he was so excited to put them up but ultimately disappointed after they stopped working after only an hour. What I mean by that is, after we hung the lights around his ceiling, the remote stopped working. And the app was even worse. The Bluetooth kept disconnecting and not changing colors bc it wouldn't connect but only for a minute or less each time. Also- these get hot so quick, within 5 mins of having them on, which doesn't seem very safe to me. I got these bc it was 100 ft for $10 but you get what you pay for in this instance. EDIT: after reaching out to customer service they 100% made it right. They sent a new remote and adapter, literally got it the next day and remote works amazing & adapter no longer gets hot. That's what made my review go from 1 star to 5. Great customer service.

These are great. Especially for $9. I bought 100ft for my son's bedroom, when in fact I only needed about 80, so I just cut the excess off. It is accurate when the description says cuttable. People just need to understand that when they cut them, the excess will not work, but the length that you have installed on the wall and plugged in will STILL work. That's what they mean by cuttable. How could someone expect the excess to still work when they're not connected to an outlet. Just be sure to cut in the middle of the gold strips, which are placed about every 19-20 inches along the strip. If someone doesn't want to cut the strip and waste the excess, you can always overlap until it's used up. Also, if you need to reconnect after cutting, you will need another 4pin connector. This is kind of a pain in the butt though. Hope this helps! 🙂

I’ve had these up for over two years. Work perfectly fine. Have them connected to my phone and the alexa. I’ll continue to choose DayBetter.

These were great. I have not had any problems with mine whatsoever and I’ve had them for a year now I would definitely buy these again and recommend them.

Update: DayBetter reached out and offered a refund as well as apologizing. I will be purchasing from them again. I truly appreciate them reaching out! I am super bummed. I bought these for my son for his birthday. We got them put up just like he wanted them. Plugged them in, and only half the lights work. I really don’t want to take them down. My fault for not checking first.
