We needed a Wi-Fi security system and, after reading so many informative reviews, we chose Tonton Security cameras. Firstly, upon confirmation of the order, it was great to receive an email from Milly giving contact details and reminding us that she was there to help – and she has been! We really can’t recommend her highly enough! We had a question about adjusting the sensitivity of the cameras and she sent through an update and confirmed that we had the latest NVR software, and another about setting up the email (we just hadn't understood how to choose the email provider - which, on reflection, when we checked through the set up manual slowly, was very easy). The system really is plug in and play. We ordered the four camera/eight channel system, as we thought we might need extra cameras – we did. The two extra cameras arrived, and we simply followed the instructions to match code and they worked. Both the email notification and the App on Android work well. The photograph attachment to the email is very good, but it is the App that is really impressive. The App has improved significantly over the few months that we have been using it: For each notification it is now possible to link directly to a 30 second playback video. One can also view in real time and make recordings, backups and screenshots. The videos and screenshots from the App are such high quality – clear, good definition, no matter what the weather, or time of day (including the difficult time of dawn and dusk). As a private user, we have some cameras on video only and others on AV (that is, recording sound as well as video). The cameras are really multi directional. We have been able to put them at various angles to capture the exact area that we want covered, the lens angle is very wide. The Wi-Fi coverage is strong (and the reason that we felt confident to add two more cameras) – the cameras are several metres away from the NVR which is plugged into the router and television near the centre of the house. The signals have to go through brick walls and are all working well! In total, we would recommend Tonton security camera system for the high quality camera coverage, ease of use, and the wonderful support of Milly and the customer service team.

I ordered this camera to replace one of four cameras that bit the dust after 5 years of exposure to the Welsh seasonal elements. This camera is an updated version of the cameras which were included in the CCTV package I purchase in 2018, and so I was a little doubtful that I would be able to get this working with my older setup. Initially upon pairing the new camera, my NVR reported 'resolution too big'; I contacted Tonton support and they sent me an updated firmware file for my NVR, along with good instructions for how to install it. Installation went without a hitch, and before long I was up a ladder installing my newly paired replacement camera. I noticed that this camera (unlike those that were included in the 2018 package) includes a 'floodlight' (several bright LEDs). Unfortunately, my NVR is too outdated to support the new camera's floodlight functionality, however, Tonton support were very helpful indeed when I asked about a workaround. Tonton support sent me detailed instructions and a comprehensive video - tailored specifically to the hardware in use, and the specific software version running on my NVR. With Tonton's help, I was able to effectively 'double pair' the new camera, to be able to control the floodlight functionality from my phone, while also having the new camera operate seamlessly as part of the 2018 NVR/CCTV setup. In short, this is a great camera. The only complication was owing to my running an old CCTV setup - and Tonton support were excellent where it came to helping me get everything up and running the way I wanted. They could have simply told me that my NVR was 'out of support', but they didn't. Highly recommended.

easy to install and easy to understand with a bit of practice. I mare than happy with my four cameras and monitor. Sometimes they pick up too much outside noise and I live in the countryside

The ease of setting up a Tonton CCTV system is unsurpassed. I have four of their cameras already installed with a hard drive in a tp link network. It runs 24-7 for less than£5 a month and these two additional cameras were added to the network in just a couple of minutes. The quality of the picture and video is superb given the cost of each camera and you could pay much more for less value. Definitely a set up to consider however you want to set them up.

I bought this to add to my existing NVR system. The camera is a little different to the originals, perhaps a newer model. It has a slightly larger aerial. No trouble getting it set up as a 5th camera. Milly even spotted my purchase and sent some helpful links through. Originally I bought the 8 channel NVR with 4 cameras which is great. Once I had the NVR system I discovered our garden has a lot of night time wildlife, particularly foxes. This additional camera was added specifically to get a better look at them rather than for security. I wasn't disappointed, at least 4 different foxes in a single night. With two at the same time for a while. I've got some really great footage. I really recommend this kit, the quality is great and support from Milly is superb, very responsive.

After contacting Milly for her recommendation to add another camera to my TonTon setup, I purchased the camera listed. It was incredibly simple to add to my NVR and up an running within minutes. The camera has excellent day and night clarity and has the added bonus of a speaker for both in and out sounds. I can now talk to the postman whilst I am out and about although I haven't yet used that facility. Milly is really great and replies to emails almost instantly.

What can I say about a system that is so good I bought an extra camera to increase the coverage of my property and true to form the camera was easy to add and works great giving a great day view and the night vision is great very clear. I would recommend this system and the company as they are the easiest to get in touch with and offer great customer support.
