Been about a year, great laptop
I’ve had it for a while, running nearly everything on ultra 1440 with at least 60fps, generally in the 90s or higher.. on ultra settings. Not all games but the majority. Getting very good performance running VR through an oculus 3 as well. Msfs24 is pretty demanding but this will run it in VR. Half life Alyx runs but it’s at that point where you might want to lower a setting or two. Cyberpunk with ray tracing is no problem I normally use a 1440 monitor but the laptop screen is actually a higher resolution and looks amazing. I believe the screens frame rate also goes in the 200s but my monitor is 144hz so that’s my target Everything is nice. Keyboard, solid body, track pad with the number pad feature if you want it. I like the 2 usb c thunderbolt ports, great for VR and some other hardware I use The asus software is trash. One of the few gripes I have. I like gaming with my fans turned all the way up to keep the system cool, this is the first laptop with a system program that doesn’t let you. It’s irritating. That’s really my only complaint For reference, I paid $2,200 for mine. The 5070ti model. Now I see it for $3,000… if I paid 3k my review would be 2 stars. Price matters, keep that in mind Pic of my setup, laptop is under the monitor which is mounted on a swivel

Powerful Gaming Laptop With Plenty of Resources!
Blazing fast, powerful CPU and graphics card, plenty of RAM and disk space, and so much more! I absolutely love my new laptop! It is fast, easy to setup and get fully updated, and runs games better than my desktop does! I purchased the laptop during Amazon's Prime day as a little bit of a splurge. My previous laptop was nearly 10 years old and was really showing it's age, so it was time for a replacement. I will mention a few items that I'm less than pleased with. First is the number pad that overlays on the mouse pad. This is just a bad idea all around. Sometimes I press the Num Lock button on accident and when that happens the mouse pad stops working as a mouse. Plus, when I have a Bluetooth keyboard attached and activate the Num Lock, it actives the one on the mouse pad as well. Second, unlike other laptops of this price range, it only came with Windows 11 Home edition instead of Pro edition. So I had to pay to upgrade it as I prefer the Pro version as I have more control over the configuration of Windows itself. Last, I wish the display was a touchscreen display. But alas, it was not included with this version. But, all-in-all, I am pleased with the performance, quality, and appearance of this laptop. My hope is that this laptop will provide me with years of use and enjoyment! So far, it's off to a great start!

Great little gaming laptop
Loving this powerhouse so far. The screen is beautiful for every game I've played so far, it runs everything quickly, and the lighting is awesome. Great gaming on the go option. Will say it's definitely heavier and larger than expected, but it's a great buy so far

Everything's fine, but the sound cuts out occasionally
Overall, this is an excellent laptop. I have had almost no problems with it, except that sometimes the sound stops working in either the left or right speaker. I do not know why this happens, but it happens rather rarely. The sound disappears for a couple of seconds and then comes back again. Of course, I do not want to return it or deal with repairs because of this, but overall, if your unit does not have this defect, then this is a very good and powerful laptop that can handle almost everything.

Runs great
Been running a few months now and no problems. Plays everything great as you would expect to by its specs and as a labtop. The built in “armory” program for running things like your specs, overlock/turbo RGB stuff like that I give an A The screen looks beyond what I expected as well Comes with very little bloatware and easy uninstall. For its price point its doing everything I expected and more.

A Full Rounded, Gaming and Video Editing Beast
Full rounded, amazing laptop, love the building quality. Been using the maching for video editing as well as casual gaming and my god! does it delivers! The only negative I can recall is that I have experienced a few issues about the keyboard randomly disconnecting. But after doing a Hard Reset/EC Reset it feels that the issue has been solved. Nothing further to report, really happy with the 5070ti model and those extra 4gb of VRAM really impact gaming performance. I will really encourage anyone to get the 5070ti model or above!

Second G16, Same Problems: Crashes, Freezes, ASUS Needs to Do Better
Let’s start with the positives. The G16 features a powerful setup, a bright mini-LED screen, is easily upgradeable, and offers nice RGB lighting, a solid keyboard, and a decent trackpad. Now for the negatives. This is my second ASUS G16 — I had the 2024 model with a 14th-gen CPU and RTX 4070, and now I own the Ultra 9 with the RTX 5070 Ti. Unfortunately, ever since I got it, I’ve been dealing with the nvlddmkm.sys BSOD issue. It’s been widely reported in forums for months, and it still has no fix. Reinstalling drivers doesn’t help, which is very disappointing. The internal speakers are another step backward. Compared to the 2024 model, they are subpar, producing excessive noise and poor audio quality. I’ve also noticed a horizontal black line across the display that sometimes disappears but usually remains (see picture). Another issue carried over from the 2024 to the 2025 model: the laptop will randomly freeze and become completely unresponsive until I unplug and reinsert the power adapter. Finally, the build quality feels cheap. The chassis is primarily plastic, and for some reason, ASUS designed the edges so sharply that resting your arms on the keyboard actually scrapes your skin. I’ve been buying ASUS products — motherboards, graphics cards, and laptops — for many years, and I’ve never run into this many problems. It really feels like their overall quality has gone down, which is a shame given how strong ASUS used to be.

Very nice laptop.
So far everything plays very smoothly on this laptop. I play online Second Life, on wifi, with no lag.

US keyboard, beware.
Overall, I really like the laptop for it's performance and quality. I knew the seller was based in the USA, and did check the Q&A to ensure it came with a UK keyboard. Unfortunately, it's a US layout, so be aware. I can adapt without too much issue, but disappointed that despite asking the question, I was given the wrong answer by Amazon.
