Great product.
Great little pruduct. Bought it to replace an old Channel Master that looked like it came out of the dark ages. Was surprised how small this unit is and how easy it was to set up. Works perfect. Hope it lasts as long as the last one did.

Simple to use and works great. No instruction manual.
Replacement for an old clunky model. The compact size surprised me. Installation and operation are very easy. Works perfectly. Only problem was there is no manual included, but do a Google search for, "channel master rotator manual", to find one.

So Far So Good - Compatible with TDP-2 Permacolor et al.
I was looking to update the control box for my Permacolor TDP-2. I got the rotor years ago on close out from a local big box store. It is, at base, an Antennacraft brand that was sold through a number of outlets. Although it was not specifically listed as being compatible with the CM 9537, I have replaced the original TDP-2 controller and all is working well. It is really a plus having the remote control and being able to program different directions to match channel numbers. Also gone is all the mechanical noise of the old box!

But be prepared to have to purchase it again (and AGAIN!)
The operational aspect of this device is well thought-out: 1.-It can be programmed to remember the antenna's best direction for dozens of different channels 2.-Its remote-contol operation and digital directional-display especially handy and useful !!! BUT:!!! It's the most unreliable, short-lived electronic gizmo I've ever owned. I've had the "Channel Master" antenna rotor-MOTOR (which HAS been fine...no problems) connected to this model controller box for about 8 years... AND I'VE HAD TO REPLACE THIS CONTROLLER BOX four.. count them: !FOUR TIMES! in those years because of repeated malfunction (ALWAYS occurring after a local thunderstorm). I understand the damaging force lightening can impose upon electronics, but none of my two TVs or two VCRs connected to the same antenna controlled by this device EVER experienced any failure during ANY of those controller-"frying" events (or subsequent to ANY local thunderstorm activity)! So..should you buy this unit? If you already have the "Channel Master" motor rotating your roof antenna, I'd have to meekly say "yes" (but be prepared to have to buy it again within the next two years...UNLESS you live in an arid, storm-free climate)! UPDATE (a/o Aug, 2016): NOW (however a nuisance), I listen to summertime weather reports and I DISCONNECT THE THREE MOTOR/ROTOR WIRES CONNECTED TO THE CONTROLLER BOX WHEN I HEAR THAT THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY for a particular day. Have had no box-burn-outs since initiating this process about four years ago (installed a single, quick-disconnect plug for the 3 wires to facilitate the dis/re-connect process). Should you elect not to install a one-way, 3-wire plug (which now can be hard to find with most "Radio Shack" stores closed) but to also practice the same precautionary steps prior to lightening storms by disconnecting the 3 rotor-to-controller box wires, be sure to MARK THE 3 WIRES WITH TAPE (1,2,3) so-as to BE ABLE TO RE-MATCH THE WIRES TO THE BOX'S RESPECTIVE CONNECTORS.

Good unit. Now I can adjust my antenna by digital numbers instead of guessing with the old style control box. The box is very small and easily fits anywhere in your TV room.

Arrived overnight to replace a non-functioning original
I was losing reception on our favorite channel during a storm and tried to rotate our antenna to improve reception. That is when I realized our long neglected Channel Master Rotator Controller had shorted out and did not work. The electronics must have been fried. I ordered this replacement yesterday. it arrived today. It took 5 minutes to hook up, and it is working flawlessly.

You're better off doing what I finally did and just by ...
Have had FOUR (04), count them, FOUR of these kits fail on me every six months. If you live in a low signal fringe area that requires a lot of antenna turning, either the rotor or the box eventually fail. UNEQUIVICABLY! You're better off doing what I finally did and just by two antennas and a signal combiner and point them in the directions of the stations you want. In my case, I pointed one North toward Milwaukee and the other South toward Chicago and that set-up works perfectly. No more worries about changing antenna for every other channel or one of the units burning out. Problem solved.

Appears to be your only option when you need just a new 3-wire antenna rotor controller
Purchased to replace a failed mechanical rotor controller. This should work with any rotor using a 24VAC 3 wire connection. I like the fact this control comes with a remote, and that this control is only 1/3 the size of the original controller. The spring loaded connectors were also really easy to deal with. I don't like the build quality; one front panel button is constantly stuck and it's very hard to rotate the antenna precisely. I keep having to use my fingernails to pull the button and stop rotation. Was hoping to avoid the remote but sticky panel buttons mandate its use. Synchronization is the same as it's always been; have to rotate through each stop. This one has auto-sync which is nice. My main concern is longevity, reading some of the other reviews I don't have high hopes. But I needed a controller and I needed it quick.
