This was perfect to make cake pops with. The color accuracy is perfect.

Awesome rich color in chocolate. Worked perfectly, distributed evenly, “oil based” is accurate- left chocolate smooth, concentrated so not much was needed to obtain rich color.

I was asked to make Rice Krispie treats dipped in royal blue candy melts, so I bought this dye. It seemed like I had to add quite a bit of color to get the intensity that I wanted, but it worked well. The color was beautiful, and I got a lot of compliments. I couldn’t detect a change in taste or smell. The treats did stain your mouth blue, but nobody cared. Speaking of staining…definitely wear gloves, even if you don’t think that your skin will come in contact with the melted chocolate. Drips happen. I put on gloves after the first drip, but still had blue spots on my finger for weeks. Going forward, I might buy a set of oil-based food coloring instead of a single color so I have the colors for the next project. But for this one project, it was a good value for the money.

There was a weird aftertaste with this color. The color was perfect. I typically only use color mill because it has no aftertaste. I am so grateful that I tasted this before I made my treats because it would have ruined them. It had the right consistency. It wasn’t too thick. My only which is that the aftertaste was nonexistent. I’m sure that it would have lasted a long time. I ordered two of them, but I will need to send them back.

Finally a REALLY true green food dye...green green green not pale looking crap
