These are beautiful textured linen weave ivory photo holders and good quality envelopes! I was pleasantly surprised! You probably wouldn't want the cardstock too much heavier for insertion, but be gentle when inserting photo or you could tear or crease either. This is not a project to rush through!I trimmed the photo short edge slightly to make for an easier insertion. Check the position of the photo against light before using a tiny bit of double sided tape to secure the upper sides of the photo holder case to the photo.I was thinking you could use ink, ribbon, hand painting, or even light color wash dried before inserting photo on the outer corners or side to coordinate with your picture's color scheme.They look very rich...Have fun!

Card stock was of good quality. I was very disappointed that the color of the cards (cream) did not match the color of the envelopes(white).

These were perfect for inserting photographs and making sets of stationary as gifts!

Love these cards, especially the price. They’re sturdy, the picture fits nicely in the card, and I’m very happy with the purchase.

I wanted to experiment with cards with inserts to put prints of my art in and decided on these after looking around.The first thing is that they aren't a standard frame size from what I can tell so if someone wanted to frame it, it can't double as a mat (something I was looking for)The other thing is it is a little flimsy, I'll be inserting a second little card to give my photo paper a little more stiffnessThird, the insert pocket is about 1/4 inch larger than a 4x6 photo (the pocket, not the window), so the 4x6 is a little looser and can get displaced more easily. 4.25 x 6.25 is a really weird size, so I'll have to cut down some cardstock by hand and mount my prints, which I wanted to avoid doing.I'll probably use these to gauge interest and then seek something that meets my needs better later.I do like the slight texture the cardstock has. and I'm sure it's great for thicker paper or people who aren't looking for something as specific as myself.

The card was a medium weight, ivory card stock. However, the envelop is bright white. A very obvious mismatch. The card is sturdy, but the frame part is a bit flimsy. I chose these to frame botanical prints, but once the insert was added some of the frames buckled (did not lie flat.) Product is disappointing and I am a little embarrassed to use the for gifts or to sale.

loved these...easy to slide photos in.. just wish envelopes were a pure white ...
