Good replacement for lost lid
Works well as a replacement for the lid we lost. Mine is an older moccamaster, and this lid fits perfectly.

Whew! Glad I could find it.
We have a Moccamaster coffee maker. It is the simplest and the best coffee maker we have ever had. It has a stainless steel carafe and this item is the top that seals the carafe. After 10 years of using the carafe, the top seal was getting worn and needed to be replaced. This is the exact item we needed. Our coffee now stays hotter longer in the carafe. I am certainly glad this item was available.

Worth it!
It’s pricey, it’s just a plastic lid- but without it the carafe doesn’t stay hot- yet with it the coffee stays hot for several hours! Worth every penny.

Every bit as good as the original lid
I bought this lid to replace the original lid which had vanished. The original then reappeared, and I've been using them both. The function of the new lid is identical to that of the original. They screw into the pot in the same way. The new one has a ring of softer, white plastic below the handle. I wonder if the ring will wear out first, but it is fine now. The new lid is taller the the original by the height of the white plastic ring. The pot with the new lid in it does fit under the filter if I return the pot there.

Good replacement lid
Ordered to replace an original lid for an older style 1.25L carafe in a KBGT model brewer. Buying a replacement o-ring was not an option. Fits well but seals with less force than the old lid. Some of that might be how the seal on the old lid degraded versus a brand new one.

My original only lasted a year before the pieces separted.
Not happy that I had to buy this piece in less than a year. The one that came with it, the upper and lower separated. I wish at this price it would have some insulating properties. Not sure how much better heat is retained than the brew tube that sends coffee to the bottom. I would be so much happier overall with my Technivorm, if it actually made better coffee than my Bunn Velocity Brew.
