After 6 weeks, the buttons will not stay pressed in and the pulse function is not working.

Corresponds to price. Works but need to be careful not to overheat/overwork it.

The liquidiser attachment works perfectly well but the grinder attachment is poorly designed and nearly caused a fire. In order to fill the grinder, it is necessary to hold the cover inverted then screw into its base while still inverted. Not too much of a problem but to attach to the main unit, it is pushed in then twisted clockwise to lock in position. To remove it, twist anticlockwise to unlock BUT you are now twisting the clear cover and not the base of the grinder unit so all that happens is that cover comes off and all the contents are spilled! You now find that there is little or no purchase on the grinder base to remove it. On my first use of the grinder, it ran slowly, the base unit overheated and white smelly smoke issued. It was quickly disconnected from the power socket and taken outside to cool. On examination later, after removing the grinder with some difficulty, I saw that the plastic sealing washer from the grinder had become tangled in the grinding blades.
