All time favorite gaming mouse
I literally can’t give this mouse enough stars. I use an Asus ROG ally x as my only PC. Spends most of its time docked and does everything from send emails to play fallout 4. Having the ability to hotkey shortcuts or other actions is game changing for me. Literally. My main reason for buying this mouse was to use for fallout4 and Skyrim. It works exceptionally well for hotbar items. The sensitivity levels are great. The mouse is on the heavy side of the spectrum but I the mouse is so well designed and so comfortable to hold that it didn’t create any hot spots or cause my hand to get fatigued during my extended gaming sessions. I would definitely recommend this mouse for people with large hands. I’m 6’2” and can palm a basketball, but this mouse just fits. The RGB is the only thing I’m disappointed about. There is barely any. Just enough to light up the number pad and corsair logo. All in all, I highly recommend this mouse to anybody who wants more versatility with their controls and a completely customizable gamingbexpierence.

Great for MMOs.
Been using Corsair's 12 button mouse since the launch of WoW classic & really changed up the way ai play for the better. Takes some getting used to at first, but can't imagine going back without it. First one was wired that I had to replace due to the mouse wheel malfunctioning after a time. Looks like Corsair is putting more updated development into their wireless iteration than the wired as I hadn't seen any new models for the wired at the time of purchasing this...so went with the wireless this time albeit more money. Hopefully the scroll wheel lasts this go around. Wireless is preferred for a mouse anyway....and this shows in product development; conversely, theres more development on wired keyboards than there are wireless.

Great mouse ruined by terrible software, reliability, durability, battery and connectivity
I've owned too many of these. Sadly, they're the best MMO mouse out there for me since I'm an old gamer and need the thumb adjustment for the side numerical keypad to allow my gnarled arthritic hands to function in game properly. I've had two previous models fail due to sudden connection failure and mouse wheel issues. I figured fine, I'll try this new SE version in white. When iCue is painstakingly, annoyingly set up correctly and all its bizarre UI foibles deciphered, the mouse is successfully connected (no guarantee there) and battery charged up, it's great. The performance and functionality is great. It's smooth, fast, highly adjustable, fits my hand better than others except for the insane, mystifying textured flared pinky 'rest' on the right forward bottom edge. What the heck were they thinking, there? OK, that's the good part. The bad: Connectivity using the dongle is very, very short-range. You can't even have the dongle on the opposite side of a LAPTOP without it stuttering/skipping, let alone off on a USB hub somewhere or, even worse, your desktop on the floor or something. Also bad: Battery life is ridiculously poor. I've got it set to 2 minutes sleep time and even with occasional use it lasts maybe three days or so before requiring a recharge, and it gives no notification the battery is getting low - you have to check the abominable iCue app or pop up the taskbar group icons. There's also problems with having to re-pair the mouse after having used it for months - it will suddenly no longer pair with the PC or iCue, and naturally the pairing process is a pain to do. I'd honestly just look for something that offers similar functions.

Large but comfy, great weight, and highly customizable—perfect for WoW and other MMOs.
I’ve been using the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE for a while now and overall I’m really happy with it. It’s definitely on the larger side, but it feels very comfortable in hand, even during long sessions. The weight feels just right—not too light, not too heavy. What really stands out is how customizable it is, especially for MMOs like World of Warcraft. The side buttons are super useful once you get used to them, and the software lets you tweak everything to your liking.

Mix Feelings
Pros: - Lots of options via the desktop app. - You can assign a different profile/configuration when you execute/run/open whatever program you're going to run. No need to push a bottom it will do it automatically. (I found this extremely helpful since I play different PC games and every assigned bottom will work differently for that specific game. Same when I open Adobe Photoshop or Premier - Excellent Battery Life and Wireless capability also you can plug and go wireless on the fly. (Does not lag while changing) Cons: - Must use desktop app for mouse to work properly with its side bottoms. How programable are the bottoms. You assign the bottoms to keys on your keyboard or multi keys at once. (Example: in Crimson Desert. To use Blinding Light, you press and hold the F+CTLR a short delay and repress CTLR to do reflection, with this mouse you can do it with just one click do Blinding light in one key and do Reflection on another. Incredible to do combos. You will never miss a combo. - Since this is not your typical mouse it doesn't have the two additional mouse bottoms so if it is not running the app no side bottoms will work to mimic the two bottoms. (No app = just left and right click) Must use app. Also, even with the desktop app it doesn't have the two additional bottoms since it has the programable keys. (Not having the extra two mouse bottom like a traditional mouse will get some getting used to (believe me). In order to take full advantage, you need the desktop app running in the background. - The side bottoms they feel a bit to close and if your gaming try not to have any critical actions next to each other that could cancel one another. You will press the wrong key. I don't fat finger much and it has happened multiple time with me. Loosing boss fight in Crimson Desert due to an accidental bottom press multiple time. - The mouse will feel awkward in the way your hand is laying and gripping it and it will feel like you not holding or resting your hand. It feels more like your placing your hand on top of an egg in the way you would not want to over grip to not crack the egg, This happens because automatic reaction to the side bottoms and the way they feel is as if your thumb doesn't have any place to rest and frankly the thumb is a finger I use a lot for up, down and right side mouse movement . Since it side bottoms are there your incline not to use your thumb to put much pressure that will cause an accidental press. - I have mix feeling about this mouse. Part of me loves it but another part finds. The amount of time you have to invest in getting use the feel of the mouse and master it is a bit much for my taste. My recommendation is yes, a great mouse to have. However, have your favorite traditional bottoms mouse ready when you just about had it and need a break.

So far, so good
This is more of a "first impressions" review right now, and there's no immediate red flags. I'll update this later once I've put some hours in with it. Off the jump, this mouse feels amazing in my hand. I have pretty big hands, and I'm coming from a Logitech G600 for comparison. The Scimitar is around the same size? It's slightly longer top to bottom, and slightly narrower side to side, but my hand still rests very comfortably on the mouse. It's noticeably lighter than the G600, too, which is great for FPS gaming. There's a screw on the bottom of the mouse with an included allen key to let you adjust the position of the 12-button panel so you can adjust your thumb's reach. Super nice idea, but when you loosen the screw, the panel moves way too loosely, so you have to hold it in your hand firmly while tightening the screw with your probably non-dominant hand. To make matters worse, the included allen key is not quite the right size for the screw, so it skips while you're tightening it back down. (And no, I'm not over-tightening it - it's still able to move very loosely at that point!) That aside, it feels very good in the hand and very responsive. I don't notice any drop outs or latency, and the included USB A to C cable is very high quality. If you care about Linux compatibility, then I'm happy to report no issues thus far. (I have not and will not download the Corsair software to customize the mouse at all, so no comments on that. If you care about that, then try it at your own risk.)

Love the mouse, not enough wireless time.
So first off id like to say I love this mouse, the white goes with my setup and I love all the buttons. The reason for 3 stars is i paid a pretty penny for this mouse in May of 2025 and I dont know if mine is just defective or what but even with all the lights off I only get like 2 days worth of wireless out of it so I feel like I should have just bought the wired version because thst is what it has turned into for me at least. I just wish I could get more time out of the wireless for it.

Powerful MMO Mouse With Great Features
The Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE has been a fantastic addition to my setup. The 16 programmable buttons and adjustable key slider make it incredibly flexible for MMO gaming, and the 33,000 DPI sensor is smooth, accurate, and responsive. Wireless performance has been excellent, and the battery life is genuinely impressive — it easily lasts through long sessions without needing a charge. I haven’t used the Elgato virtual stream deck features yet, but it’s nice knowing they’re available if I ever want to dive deeper into macros or streaming tools. Even without that, the mouse already offers more customization than most people will ever need. Ergonomically, it felt a bit odd at first, especially coming from smaller mice, but after a short adjustment period it became comfortable and natural to use. The build quality is top‑notch, and the gunmetal finish looks great on the desk. The only hiccup I’ve had is that I haven’t been able to get it to pair with my Corsair Slipstream dongle, which should allow me to run my mouse, keyboard, and headset off a single receiver. It’s not a deal‑breaker since the mouse works perfectly over its own wireless connection, but it’s worth mentioning. Overall, this is a feature‑packed, high‑performance MMO mouse with excellent wireless reliability. Despite the Slipstream pairing issue, it’s still an easy 5‑star product for me.

It's better for less than naga v2 pro
This is perfect mmo mouse. Solid, fit small hand, comfortable side panel you can adjust, good value for money compared to naga v2 pro. Naga buttons and scroll wheel were faulty out of the box, here with Corsair everything works perfectly. icue software is not bad, side buttons are easy to press, give good feedback and are not to loud. I don’t like that in my case lmb and rmb have different click feedback but as long as it works I don't mind to much.

Great mouse but it came used
Very good mouse so far. Mine came opened and used though! I called them about it and said they needed an expert and to call another day. I kept the unit because it was not used extensively and couldn’t be without that mouse for days until I got a replacement, so watch out.
