Stale Candy, no expiration date, no sealed package like in the photi
Stale Candy, terrible, no taste, very hard. The candy wasn't in a sealed bag like it is presented in the listing so there is no expiration date. This company sells expired Ccandy at high prices. Shame on them!

Bag of 16... Fresh as we've got
These are my wife's favorite candy (and I like them too). We have relatives living in Ukraine who bring this halva whenever they visit and a local Russian grocery store that carries them. I've been reluctant to order this from Amazon because of the negative reviews mentioning issues with freshness. Unfortunately, I was faced with the perfect storm of no visits in a while, the store being out of stock, and Valentine's Day, so I turned to Amazon. They did not let me down. I placed my order on Friday, and the halva was delivered two days later. They package it as 16 individually wrapped pieces in a sealed plastic bag. The candy is as fresh as we've had, either directly from Ukraine or the local store. And while it's a bit less expensive at the store, there are savings of time and effort. I think after this, I'll be relying on Amazon as my primary US supplier of my wife's favorite candy. And thanks to our newly found availability, I won't feel so bad about sneaking pieces of it from her stash.

Great Russian candies
Used to eat them in Moscow, somehow here they are even better: fresh and tasty. Among American candies they could be compared with peanut butter cups. Try them if you wish to have a taste of a Russian sweet.

Overpriced for the quality
It was just OK for the price I have paid. Does not have an intense flavour of halva. The chocolate glaze is not impressive either. Expected much better taste.
