Sirdar Alpine, Luxe Faux Fur Yarn, Polar (400), 50g

Gorgeous wool! Very little, I will need about three for a scarf but super soft and durable.

I bought this to add the finishing touch to my Christmas knitting. It is lovely wool easy to knit and lovely and thick , I found it was hard to sew up with this wool though and ended up sewing it together with thinner wool that I had . I would definitely recommend this wool to anyone.

So soft! Update: It sheds a lot! This is currently the only deep red faux fur yarn available. So many yarn manufacturers only offer pastel and muted shades. Why??? Nice rich deep colour and feels divine. Bought for craft project (fluffy pom poms). A good brand so expect it to handle well without shedding. God value for money.

I bought 2 colours, a brown and white as well as a white one and both were so lovely. Used them to crochet a cow and the result was so soft and uniform.It takes a little to get used to not fully seeing the stitches but is incredibly enjoyable once you get the hang of it. The quality is amazing and and doesn't easily break. However, the only let down is how little yarn is provided for the price as mine has almost completely ran out after one project. Other than that, it's great and I'd highly recommend!

This wool is perfect for making knitted toys. It can be hard to pick up stitches if they are dropped, so better for someone a bit more experienced.I also needed extra as the weight includes fluffy bits, so buy more than a pattern states. So soft you just want to cuddle what you make!

In love with the Alpine range from Sirdar. I decided to try this colour (Laurel) but I must say the colour is nothing like the picture. I was expecting a pastel blue with white tips but I got a moss green with white tips. Reordered a different colour (Fawn) which I already had some left of and that was more purple than advertised. I think some changes have been made to the dye used in production. Still soft and thick and fluffy. Definitely worth the money. From my experience, knitting with this is slow as it requires a lot of stitch markers or counting due to the fluffiness of the yarn. The stitches disappear but this is expected.

Beautiful soft yarn. Lovely and warm. Haven't used it yet but I'm sure it'll knit up wonderfully. Would recommend it.
