This is my second big purchase from this company I am very happy with the quality
My honest review here! I had purchased 15 of these about two years ago for my previous home. They are solid and probably will last 50 years. I since moved and needed something to protect my new stairs and also us from slipping. They installed in less than 5 minutes and elevate the look of the stairs and also offer safety from slipping. I generally don't leave reviews unless truly warranted. Also being aluminum and in about 13 hours of direct sunlight was the right choice for my home. I had a set of plastic ones in my cart but they would surely warp and not last in this weather. I figured if I an putting holes in my new wood, I wanted to only do it once. Great company and great product!

Very sturdy and pricey - good in the snow
Because these are solid metal, they are not cheap. But if you don't have a lot of steps to cover they are great. I screwed all mine down and they look good and more importantly are effective. Our front porch steps can get a little slick sometimes so I put these on each one. Through the cold, snow, ice...I felt safe stepping on them since the raised divots your shoes from sliding.

Works perfectly on wood step
My wood steps get super slippery in the PNW rainy season and this has worked perfectly to add traction. No slips since installing, which was super easy.

Perfect!
Very nice! I bought these for my pressure treated outdoor steps. They’re well made, easy to install, and do a great job of keeping me from slipping on the steps. Just be careful with installation- you need to make sure you put the screws in the right holes (the instructions do warn you about this!).

Looks like a winner
Very pleased with the quality of the stair safety treads. They have a very substantial coating that looks like it will be very resistant to weather and salt. Much heavier gauge metal than I expected for $7.

Sturdy and effective
The wet wooden steps in front of the house needed something to make them safer. The glue type treads I’ve observed, last maybe 2 to 3 years, it seems. I was also concerned about residual glue. These screw attached treads are perfect. They are quite heavy duty and really grip. They’ve been on for three months and are like the day I put them on. It was easier for me to screw these in than preparing the wooden steps for gluing. I also need to add that my steps are out fully in summer sun and rain here in southern Alabama.

Better than tape
Seems like a good quality product. Helps with traction. Each tread had enough screws plus one extra. Install is easy with a drill and Phillips head bit. I’d give it 5 stars but they shorted me 1 tread; I ordered 8 and received 7. I reached out to the company with an email and included my order slip. Waited a week and received no response. Had to go through Amazon to request a refund for the missing tread. So due to lack of communication I’m only giving it 4 stars.

SOLID PRODUCT. Almost bought brown, glad I didn't, check the true color of your steps!
These aren't cheap if you have a lot of steps to improve, but I still wish I'd installed YEARS AGO. I knew the 'grip tapes' just were not adequate for our wet weather, but tried to get away with those for far too long. These are neat and clean and very convincing. I used them for both the front and back steps to my house. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and our cedar steps literally grow algae and moss on them each winter, and after a rain, can be terrifyingly slippery. Easy enough to install, and I was thrilled that, while they do have an imprinted product name, it is subtle, and REALLY not visually obnoxious at all. I can't stand putting other people's advertising up just to use a product in my home.

These are tough and durable and have thus far worked great through a northern winter. The grips are still effective in the snow, however the barbs/raised grips are not very tall. In a situation with a lot of ice, they would likely get covered and rendered ineffective. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the look and quality compared to plastic solutions.

Very nice, will make a big difference for safety. Added to a boathouse which is often wet and slimy. Purchased both the strip and the nosing, and they match each other. Pictures on ad description made it look like they might be different colours, but they’re the same, so they match. Could be cheaper, but they’ll probably last a long time.

I got these after slipping on the front steps of my house. I live in Northern Canada so I get a lot of ice and snow. These are very durable, pleasant underfoot, and WORK! Easy to shovel over. I've gotten a lot of comments on how great they look and work. I got the brown to go with my wooden steps and they look really nice. Love them. I'm extremely pleased with them.

Works well, easy to install with supplied screws, not uncomfortable on bare feet!

Seemed at first expensive but they are aluminum and high quality including the screws. Made in North America as well. Dont need many - install at strategic places where slipping has been an issue. Look great as well.
