I am around 50 years old, and have never been much of a reader. I prefer to wait for the movie. I bought this series for my oldest son but when I read the first couple pages to make sure it was appropriate for his age I was blown Away. The writing and story suck you in and you can’t put it down. Both my boys and I have read the entire series and are anxiously awaiting book 8!

Purchased as an incentive to start reading again for my grandson. He liked the author and had read the first three books before but it had been quite awhile. So we purchased vol. 1-7 and now he’s starting over with vol. 1 and mentioned how much he’s enjoying them.

Bought for grandson

I started buying this series when my youngest daughter was around ten. She read every book as soon as she received it. I have read the first four. My youngest is now grown and I just purchased her the 8th book. We have both recently started to re-read the series before beginning the eighth book. My first grandchild will be ten in April. I have already purchased the box set. Excitingly awaiting an opportunity to read it together.

My 13 year old son loves this series. He can't put it down and is so intrigued to see what happens next. He even wants to read Lord of The Flies because its discussed in this series. This is the most interested he has ever been in reading. The series is wholesome and great if your child is not 100% in love with reading. I can not recommend highly enough.

My daughter read this series years ago and still loves this series to this day. She is an avid reader, highly intelligent 16 years of age and while this book was read in middle school the story line is so amazing that it's held her interest all these years

My daughter was so excited to get this set. She read the first two books in book club at school, so she was thrilled to have her own copies including all the books. They really keep her attention.

I’m not sure if I’m supposed to write a review of the book here, or the quality of the product. For the former, go to goodreads; I can only review the quality of the product. I bought this set for my second-grade son who started reading the first book and enjoyed it. When I see him getting closer to the end of one book I tell him I have the next book in the series ready for him. I thought it could overwhelm him to give him the full set at one time. He’s enjoying the story, the characters, and learning new words.

My 10 year old son loves this series.

I love this book series! Pages are a little flimsy and delicate but very well organized with the box set. You save a bit too if you’re in Canada
