Perfect for flight school.
This book was required for my type 141 groundschool and was good material for studying for test.

Poor color and font choices - makes it tiring to read.
Content is good, although layout is "cluttered" to put it mildly. The choices for the type size and colors make for more difficult reading than it should be. It seems they have taken their cues from web design, but in a book the reader cannot adjust brightness, contrast, or size. This makes for an unfortunate presentation. I'm disappointed.

Up to date , great artwork
Really love the book. I also have the FAA publication “Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge” and ASA “The Pilots Manual Ground School” 4th edition All three are good. The Jeppesen and ASA both have good end of chapter summaries and a questions; whereas the FAA book does not. Jeppesen art appears far superior to the other two. Aeronautical chart and airspace is much clearer in Jeppesen. Also Jeppesen has a combination of steam and glass cockpits whereas ASA purely steam gauges. Jeppesen extensively addresses ADS-B, which is in current use and will be mandatory in 2020, whereas the other two books barely mention. The Jeppesen vignettes on various aircraft and history makes the reading more entertaining as opposed to the drier ASA and FAA presentation. Real life tragic stories of pilot error provide sobering teaching points in Jeppesen. I actually do like all three books and may cross refer. If you are reading this, buying all three will be a drop in the bucket compared to flying lessons you are planning !

Really helps you understand the knowledge behind flight.
This book combined with a test preparation book really helps to not only understand the knowledge required to fly but also how the FAA will test that knowledge. However just this book alone will not help you pass the written.

J'ai surtout apprécié le prix de ce livre, sur d'autres plates forme, c'était beaucoup plus cher, voir multiplié par 2 ou 3. Merci Cependant j'apprécierai que vos employés sur les plates forme soient mieux traités.
