Awesome Ice Maker - With a Few Things to Note
After about a year of having this ice machine I am very confident in giving it five stars. It makes clear ice at an impressive rate and is easy to clean. However, there are some things you should know before purchasing. 1. Frozen Water Line: There are some cycles (typically the first cycle of a run) where the water where become so cold that it will turn to slush in the water line and interrupt the cycle, making the ice cloudy or under formed. This isn’t necessarily a reason to ding the ice maker, it even mentions in the manual that it happens. It’s most likely due to physics and the ice maker being so small. It was happening more frequently until I ran a cleaning cycle with ice machine cleaner, then it happened much less. I’ve noticed regular cleaning cycles with ice machine cleaner keep this issue at bay. 2. Cleaning: I mentioned the regular cleaning cycles with ice machine cleaner, but it is also very important to make sure the ice maker is as dry as you can get it before putting away / storing. I use a simple kitchen baster to suction the remaining water out of the water tank and cycle tank after draining, and dry the supply fountain with a paper towel (it siphons the water out of the holes). I also use a paper towel to dry the space under the ice grid. Even after all this I let it sit for 24 hours to dry completely before putting away. Doing this, I have never had any issues with mildew or taste/smell. 3. Noise Level: When running as intended it’s very quiet. I have had rare occasions where either the refrigerant pump or the water pump make more noise than usual, but it typically goes away as it runs for a bit. As a reference, I use this ice maker to make batches of ice; I use it for a few hours once a week, bag the ice and then put it away.

The ice balls melt, the machine leaks, and they won't exchange it
This had the potential to be the coolest counter top ice maker I've ever had, but honestly it just fell short. The machine doesn't get quite cold enough to keep a full bin of ice balls completely frozen, so the ones on the bottom start melting and by the end of the day are often about half the size they start at. I liked the ice enough to overlook that, but then it started leaking. At first it was just the front right side, and only a few drops every now and then - so the tray was able to hold it, and again, I was willing to let that slide. But I've had it just about a month and now it leaks pretty steadily and I basically have to take the fresh ice balls out and put in my kitchen freezer almost immediately after they drop if I want them to hold their size. I thought there must be something wrong with the machine, and since I got the warranty through Amazon and it had been less than 30 days when I originally reached out to see how I could get the ice maker exchanged, I didn't foresee having any problems. But then I found out that there is no exchange or replacement option. If I want to return it, I have to box it up safely and return it to the company for a refund. Of course I no longer have the original packaging and I am afraid I won't be able to box it up securely enough to return it fully in tact without it so I honestly don't know what I'm going to do.

Opinion after 18 months of use
I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. He is a bourbon drinker and who has been patiently waiting for our refrigerator to die so we can replace it with one that has a craft ice ball maker. We've had this for about a year and a half and I can comfortably give it a 5 star rating. We don’t run it constantly. We just make ice as needed (every other week). I drain it when I’m done using it each time. The ice is great. It’s long lasting and most balls come out crystal clear. FYI - I also take the balls out as they are made rather than letting them sit in the bin as once they’re made, the machine will keep them cold (but not frozen).

Horrible
I genuinely wanted to like this product. We purchased it late last year but did not pull it out of the box until the beginning of this year. It worked for about a week and broke. We contacted customer support who confirmed the error message was a defective product. After a few weeks of back and forth between Amazon and Ecozy we were finally shipped a replacement. It lasted about 2 months... same error message. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THIS MACHINE DOES NOT WORK!!!!!

Like Craft Ice? Hate making it? Here's the easy button.
Great ice ball maker. While it's possible to make more perfect spheres, most people are not doing all the work it takes to get there. This is plenty good enough. Use a Zero Water filter to get total dissolved solids (TDS) to as low as possible. Our tap water is around 380, after the refrigerator filter it's around 180, after the Zero Water the meter reads 002. Water tank holds 8 cups of water. Low water alert level is at 2 cups. The storage containers are upgraded and made of a thicker white plastic. Much more durable than what I saw on earlier review videos. Only ding is the design of the door drips water, it comes with a drip tray and it works, just a minor annoyance and shouldn't be put on a wood table or counter if incidental water is a concern.

Disappointing
I had high hopes for this ice maker. I really did. But the ice does not break up when it’s done with the cycle and it’s a pain to try to smash the sheets of ice up to try to fit it in your cup. Ice flies as you splash so then you end up with water all over your floor. On top of that, it’s getting louder every day. I don’t know if I got a dud, but this thing is going back. SO DISAPPOINTED. On the good side, it’s very easy to fill. That’s about all it has going for it.

Quality ice maker with good features
This ice maker checks all the boxes. Been running it daily for a few weeks now and no issues so far. I love how the drain plug is towards the front on the bottom, so you can just pull forward to the counter edge and drain into a pan easily. Draining is needed after you run the cleaning cycle. The unit has a very good footprint, so it doesn't take up too much counter space. Buttons are clearly marked and the display tells you what it's doing and when to add water. Color and style is nice, seems well built. It holds about 5 cycles worth of ice which is plenty. If gearing up for a party, just dump into an cooler and keep making more ice. Also, it's very quiet. I couldn't be happier.

Only worked 5 months
Manufacture UPDATE! They cannot help. They admit the item is defective, but since it was an Amazon purchase, Amazon has to deal with it. So far, no help from Amazon. I live in Turks and Caicos, so item returns on not easy and I cannot get an answer from Amazon as to how I can return the item. It will cost me more than the purchase price to return it. I paid shipping and Duty, so a waste of $600 USD UPDATE! Purchased Feb 25 2026 and it has stopped working, less than 5 months. I have contacted Support, so we will see what happens. Easy to use, easy to understand. I make ice then bag it in store in the freezer so its already ready. I live in a hot climate with no AC so I do have to watch it a bit more to not store the ice in it, but its great!

Great Volume and Self Cleaning!
This is the second counter top ice maker we have purchased in the past two years. It is not the cheapest BUT it is so worth it! It produces a ton of ice over the course of a day and the self cleaning feature works really well. We love it.

Don't waste money on this.
Piece of garbage. Do not buy! Extremely disappointed. The first three uses it made amazing ice. On the 4th use, the pump stopped working and started making a high pitch noise. 3 weeks after the return date. How convenient. There's no way to return this except going to the manufacturer in China. Good luck with that.

Better than Frigidaire
It is so much better than the Frigidaire ice makers like the one from Costco! It makes so much ice, and the ice doesn’t melt as fast, and the ice reminds me of the type they serve at Starbucks. I kinda like having to break the cubes apart but some people may find that annoying. The only things I find odd is the machine will make random gurgling or squealing noises but I find that only happens if I forget to refill the water reservoir and it runs dry, and the noise of the ice dropping will make you jump if the bucket is empty. Also the ice scoop provided sucks! It’s too long and has a bad angle for scooping.
