More than a toy
This robot is better thought of as a STEM learning platform than an “AI humanoid,” and with that expectation it makes a lot more sense. It’s built around the micro:bit ecosystem, which means the real value is in programming and tinkering rather than just turning it on and interacting with it. Out of the box it can walk, dance, light up, and run pre-programmed routines, and the remote/autopilot features are fun, but the real appeal is being able to customize behaviors and expand it with additional hardware. If you’re looking for something to introduce coding concepts or hands-on robotics, it seems like a solid entry point. Where it falls short is mostly in how it’s marketed. The “AI humanoid” description sets expectations that it doesn’t really meet. It’s not an intelligent companion or anything close to that level of interaction. It also doesn’t have a large base of users yet, so long-term reliability and ecosystem support are still a bit of an unknown. Overall, it looks like a decent educational robot with some personality features layered on top, but you’ll get the most out of it only if you’re interested in the programming side.

Playful and Robust Bot!
Kids love the robot. It moves very playfully being able to dance to a songs beat. I also did not expect it to be this robust. Looks like it take some damage and still preform. Highly recommend!
