ZAP! Electrostatic Air Filter Cleaner

I refuse to buy the low-end cheap filters so I bit the bullet and spent a little more on a permanent filter after figuring out the cost difference between this one and the top end 3M disposables I've been using for years. This is very well made and does a great job. I can clean it whenever I feel it needs it without running out to the hardware store for a replacement. There's much less dust in the house and the furnace actually runs quieter and seems to be under less stress as the filter is being cleaned more often than it was being replaced in the past.

Received the shipment in timely fashion - well packaged. Tube on sprayer top is too long for the sprayer bottle, so it has to be cut to size. Assume it is this long, in case you choose to attach the sprayer to a larger bottle. Found instructions ONLY on the gallon jug, so it's a little bit inconvenient to refer back to the gallon container when you need to use the product. Actual cleaning of the electronic air filter surface is improved, although not greatly. Improves if you spray & clean it multiple times.

The product is ok. I accidentally purchased 2 gallons, then tried to return one and no one returned my emails!

Totally ruined our $500.00 filters. No ingredient list on the package. I should have know it was junk! What is in it? Who knows. Don't risk it. Clean your filters as the manufactures tell you to.

The amount of cleaner is probably more than I'll use in several years, but it won't go bad. I think it does a good job on electrostatic air filters. I'd get it again - but not for some time.

I bought electro-static air filters for my AC unit, and this was the recommended cleaner. It works nicely and doesn't have an odor or perfumes you notice after cleaning the filters. It is fragrant as you clean, but when the filter is dry, you don't notice the smell. Does the job cleaning, but I don't know if you need such a generous container. I probably would order the smaller size for next time.

Works very well. Up till I got this stuff I've been cleaning filters just using high pressure water. I thought I was getting them clean that way but there's a very noticeable difference - using this Zap stuff leaves them looking brand new. Unless you're using this professionally, the gallon jug will probably last you for years.

You don't really have to use very much, and it seems to release the dirt from the filter easily. I think it's worth the price.
