I’m really bummed this product is out of stock because it worked great. I take care of a lot of dogs and many come with eye goop that gets stiff and tangled in the hair. While it doesn’t remove stains on its own, it does softens the buildup so it’s much easier to remove. I would put a good amount on my fingers and gently work it into the bridge of the nose where the buildup is, and it would start loosening and breaking up the gunk without hurting the dog. Great product. I hope it comes back because I haven’t found anything similar.

My dog has dry eyes which require constant drops to moisturize which leads to crusty eyes. This has helped immensely to dissolve the crust. Very effective.

Colt is a white Chihuahua and his eye stains are really bad. This hardly touches it. Does clean the “eye boogers.” That’s What I use it for because it really doesn’t touch the stains.

Doesn’t work

This product didn’t prevent the appearance of eye staining. All it seemed to do was to make my furbabies head looking and feeling greasy. I was just trying to figure out at first why his head looked so greasy when he had just got a bath. That stuff spread all over his head I guess from where he was pawing at his eyes he just rubbed it all over his face. But I gave it four stars because it does work well for moisturizing my furbabies little puppy paw pads. And he doesn’t seem to mind me putting it on his pads he doesn’t even lick at it. I also took pictures in case anyone is like me and needs a visual to determine size. So as you can see it is a small container and then when you take the top off there is a cover to take off and then you have to twist it up like lip balm. But I got this free with the purchase of some other products that I can’t remember what they were now.

Application ( like a glue stick) doesn’t seem hygienic .. or safe to reuse . Wanted it for healing .. not tear stains per se. messy.

It seems to be working already. I use Diamond Eyes daily but it wasn’t enough. Combined with Tear Stain Balm it is improving. I have used another tear stain balm before and it too worked however it was a hassle to apply from a pot. This stick is very easy to apply and that is a game changer. I have a white rescue Maltese cross. It’s so quick to apply, he doesn’t mind it at all. He did not like the application of with the tear stain balm in a pot. I recommend! I will order another.

Sadly not a lot of help. Also it seemed to irritate my little one.
