A veces siento que da más calor que frescura. Ni por tenerlo montado en la ventana.

This is a quality fan. It has 5 blades instead of 4 like the usual box fans. Its black and stylish and is thinner then regular fans which is nice. It has a good quality switch on the top front which is very convenient then one on the back by the motor. I definitely recommend this fan. It does blow good steong air and has a nice white noise sound which helps me sleep.

Super light weight, not a loud noise, functions well, fan size is perfect for my daughter’s tent, speed is perfect for the little ones. Comfort to place anywhere.

After my most recent Lasko box fan's switch shorted out, literally arcing, I was in the market for a new fan to help regulate my quirky body temperature. (I can't remember the last time I was comfortable without a box fan handy! First world problems, am I right?) At first I was just going to continue the endless cycle of household Lasko fans that my family has dealt with for many years, so long in fact, that we have a "graveyard" of fans in the garage from which we can draw parts for the darned things. That's neither here nor there, but is, if that makes sense? Anyway! After looking at the prices though & spotting this cost effective Amazon Basics fan, I thought, why not give one of these a try? When it arrived I was charmed by it's sleek looks. It's the same size as the model of fan I was used to using. The power level was easily on par with, if not superior to the model that I was used to using. Quality wise though, that's where it really shined! Lasko fans are notorious for their cheap plastic legs (feet?) breaking if it suddenly gets mildly offended at something you say in it's direction. After which time you have to either buy costly replacements or prop the thing up, blocking part of the airflow, but saving the money. This model of fan won't ever have that problem though. It has good quality one piece legs that screw into the bottom of the fan that support it both from the front & the back. These will not snap even if it gets tipped over. I think I fell in love with it just over that one point alone! It also doesn't have the protruding handle & dial on top of the fan. Instead the dial is flush with the face of the fan in the upper right hand corner but doesn't impede the airflow as far as I can tell. Portability isn't lost with this model either. The handle is moved to an out of the way position at the top/back of the fan, with a minimal profile to prevent blocking airflow, which allows you to easily move it when necessary. Furthermore, with the dial & handle moved away from the top of the fan, it makes it far more convenient for putting this fan in the window. The only detracting value I can possibly see in this fan would be for those whom use fans to generate white noise. The noise level produced by this fan is negligible when compared to it's contemporary Lasko fan models, so you might want to keep that in mind when shopping. For me, this is a non-issue, so my sleep quality is perfect with my beloved new Amazon Basics fan!

The Amazon Basics 3-Speed Box Fan is a solid, no-frills cooling option. It's lightweight and easy to move around, making it great for use in bedrooms, offices, or small living spaces. 🌬️ Cooling & Speed It runs very quietly, which I appreciate, especially when using it in a work or sleep environment. However, the difference between the low, medium, and high settings isn’t dramatic. It pushes enough air to stay comfortable on warm days, but don’t expect a wind tunnel on high. 🔊 Minor Sound Issue (May Not Bother Most) Mine had a very faint ticking or rattling sound while running. It wasn’t loud, and most people probably wouldn’t even notice it, but I have misophonia, so I pick up on subtle repetitive sounds more than others might. If you’re particularly sensitive to audio quirks, just be aware. 💵 Price vs. Value At just over $30, I think it’s slightly overpriced for what it is. But pricing is subjective; others might find it a bargain, especially if they value quiet operation over high-powered airflow. 💬 Final Thoughts This fan is quiet, lightweight, and effective for moderate cooling needs. It’s not industrial-strength, but it’s not trying to be. Great for everyday use, and most people will likely find it performs well for the price. Rating: 4/5. Could use a bit more power and polish, but it keeps the air moving, and sometimes, that’s all you need.
